So I was working under my 64 Plymouth last night. I went down to the garage this morning, and found I had a visitor. I guess he was trying to help me figure out the oil leak, but I'm glad I wasn't under there when he showed up! :D

Not sure about the oil leaks, but maybe a big help running wiring. My wife would have defecated as soon as she saw it.

Keep it. You can use it to snake a drain in the future. Ugh, horrible joke.

Looks like a Harbor Freight breaker bar after one use. :)
I don't wanna hijack this thread, but I can't pass this up. I put an HF breaker bar on a stuck bolt on my bumper today. I couldn't budge it so I put the jack under the end of the bar and started pumping. Damn bolt didn't break but the bar lifted one wheel off the ground and didn't even bend.

Edit: I was fully prepared for it to.....Snap-Off... Ha ha ha ha.

I have a shop snake or two, they help keep out the mice. Of course they are non-poisonous so I let them be. Mom sends me pics of cotton mouths and copper heads all the time that wander up on her back porch. Those are a little more intimidating but as long as they are outside I don't think I would bother them.

I shared a story a little while back of my encounter with one of those bastichs. I hate snakes, but I'll let them live, this one I chased all over the shop. Look it up its a funny read.

That is funny because today I chased a blue tail skink out. Snakes and things don't bother me, but one thing does and it crawled in today with that skink, a big thick centipede, or millipede, those and slugs I despise!

I remember your story because I laughed the whole way thru it.

Today while cutting the grass I came very close to one and it jumped and twisted to get out of the way of the mower. I then continued another 5 feet, jumped off, left it running, and got my 5yr old daughter and wife. Wife with hockey stick in hand finally got down to where I was and found it. Probably 1 foot long, black with some red (I was told). I only caught the black part before my 100yd dash began. They scare the hell out of me.

Now that one, I'd be rid of....Copperhead!!

The OP's black racer is harmless, and keeps the mice/rat population down!!

We went for a hike last week....I caught this 4.5 ft Bull Snake and let me 10 y/o show him off....

Took this video in Okinawa last month..... Yes, one foot square floor tiles for comparison, or a size 10 Chuck Taylor

If it's got more than 4 legs or fewer than 2, once it crosses the threshold it's done!

Outside is a different story... but only as long as we each keep our distance.

Have not seen a single snake at our new place, just all sorts of other wildlife. turkey bear deer and racoons snakes are great for killing mice and would welcome them since the cats are indoor ones.

As a couple of people mentioned they keep down the mice. This one was a diamondback about 6-8 inches long.

I keep them around my shop, as good as cats and somewhat better. Picked this one up from a neighbors shed rafters to bring home. She knew I would love to have it. Was not sure what it was as it was hidden and we do have Timber Rattlers (why the gloves).

One time a buddy and I were out in the garage in the evening brewing beer. Had a curious Skunk come wandering into the garage. We froze for the whole 5 minutes he was sniffing around until he wandered off.
