Mine only had a few left (was there for other things and happened down the isle) but scored 2 of the xp600 heavy duty ones for 11.00 each.

The 36 clamps we're 17 bucks. The other normal clamps were cheap for irwin...only like 8 bucks but shelf was empty of those.

Anyways just a heads up if you're by there, my local store has been resetting everything so may just be that one but i bet they're bringing in some other cheaper brand.

Not worth it, in my not so humble opinion. They do clamp quite well, but their handle shape rapidly becomes uncomfortable if one has to clamp/unclamp repeatedly, as is often the case when doing some woodworking projects. The Jorgensen ISD clamps are MUCH more comfortable to use. IF one is okay with the handles on the various Quik-Grips, then go for it. Me, I ordered 6 more Jorgies during Epstein's Day.

Ahh missed it on that thread didn't realize it was a dup.
I'll have to check out the Jorgensen, I never spring for the
standard irwins on sale though i have a couple, figured there was a
better brand out there.

This mainly looked cheap to get more force when i'm doing lumber
stuff solo, the standard irwins i've had forever get mostly there (
the hf stuff while cheap I don't bother to use for lumber) but
for 11 bucks these xp600 seemed much more stout and able to grip
lumber better.

Agree with the handle comment, they get a bit uncomfortable
when you have to use them a lot in a session.

I guess I kinda did both from the posts above. I had bought a few Irwins on clearance, as they were MUCH better than the few HF clamps that I had. I then saw the deal on Jorgensons and Bessey clamps and got some of those. I believe firmly in the philosophy here: You can never have too many clamps!!! I am just slowly upgrading the ones I have after having several of the HF break on me with WAY too little pressure being applied. I used the Irwins on a project this past weekend and they worked like a champ, although I can definitely see where they would get tiresome if I had to change them out more than a few times...
