York emergency light flashing in cool mode

I have a York heat pump system that I just noticed the emergency light is flashing on the thermostat. It's hot here so it's in cool mode, the ac was working fine when we went to bed and I just noticed it this morning, the blower in the house is running but the outside unit is not coming on. It's flashing 4 times then a pause, then four more times, just does this over and over.

Generally means low discharge temp after 1 hr run time on York units. Call for service.

Well I reset the system and it's been running great in 95* weather for the past 13 hours. I was expecting it to shut down again but it didn't.
