OK...literally took 5 minutes. Jumped into online help with Walmart and they adjusted for the new price. It took longer to start my computer than get the price adjustment. They are placing a credit on my credit card... ymmv

The ADI and FSV are both made from Chinese steel.

ADI can typically use more scrap material (than forged steel), and relies heavily on its heat treatment for its potential strength. I would suspect that a forged vise, made in Taiwan, would more repeatably achieve its advertised specs.

You are correct, price went up somewhere between 9 and 10 am this morning. I happened to call apparently right after it changed. The nice young lady on the phone told me it was $300 now, it was a shame I didn't call earlier, and there was nothing they could do. Ya win some and ya lose some.. $123 was a smoking price for sure.

Edited to add, mine came in today and I'm happy with it for the price I paid but I don't believe I'd pay $300 for one.

Not being able to make up my mind may have worked out for me this time - early this morning, I ordered the FSV-4 and ADI-6 for $123 each, with plans to return whichever I like least.

Might be better to list the one here you don't like for sale for those who missed the deal. Just a thought.
