During the second World War, the demand was so great for boats, that the workers clamped the sheets of steel together and welded them up, never to see the light of day, true story. I am sure the hull of those boats, if any are left could tell some great stories. Cheaper to weld up the vise grips back then.

People on drugs do crazy things with tools.

I saw a house where after the tenants had their power shut off they ripped the meter off from the socket and jammed two screwdrivers into the housing to act as jumpers.

Ha, how do you even get that many vice grips? "Hey man, run down to Harbor Freight and pick me up 200...no...400 vice grips"
