Yes, I am interested in hearing an update. I'd be interested to hear about the driving dynamics of the TR-6/Mazda, as-in, what kind of performance do you get out of it? I think the TR-6 and the MGB are the best of the 1970's British cars. I had friends who had both, and of-course, there were their predecessors. One of my older brothers had a TR-3, a co-worker and friend had I think three MGB's, friends had a bugeye Sprite, TR-4's, MG Midgets, Triumph Spitfires (I had one I flipped for $) a Jensen-Healy, and a TR-7. There were others too like a twin-cam MG-A coupe.

My assumption is that the Mazda engine would make that even more-enjoyable to operate. I'm guessing ~8 seconds 0-60mph and under 16 sec for the 1/4-mi. but of course, those aren't the best reasons to have a TR-6, as fun-to-drive should be #1.

Some interesting stuff going on in your thread, and 'inquiring minds want to-know.'
