To be fair-was she, ahem, "receptive"? We 3 guys know not to even knock when Mom's in the tub! Shop's the best place to be!

On Topic-When your garage is rigged up to the point that your neighbors' friends call them and ask when you're having another garage party! Or, when anything on the street is broken, it comes to your garage!

You travel 120 miles each way to collect an old American traffic light that you bought on ebay for thirty seven quid.

1. Your wife already knows that just a couple more minutes and I'll be done, usually means a couple more hours.

2. You cannot imagine what would could drive anyone to "finish" a garage and transform it into "living space" like a family room and shake your head in disgust every time you see one.

3. Your wife/girlfriend is out of town and your friends ask you to go drinking and maybe hit a **********, you respond that there's beer in your garage fridge and you have the whole season of "Pass Time" on DVR. You're then disappointed that they go without you, but glad you aren't missing time on your projects.

Ha ha ha... feeling better about myself. Oh... and here's the wife~!!!!! (weirdo's - LOL!)

Good catch dude.

I'm all for garage time, but I think you need to examine priorities! :lol_hitti

You know you are a garage addict if you bring motorcycle parts into your bedroom, because they take up too much precious garage space.

When you leave the lights on in the garage overnight and notice it on your electric bill.

You decide that you and your wife need to communicate via two way radio so you can screen her interruptions.

You go out there to sit in the middle of the floor and just to look at your projects and wonder what to do next or undo and redo.

OK BOYS - No Joke....I MAY REALLY HAVE A PROBLEM and I'll likely be going for therapy now that this thread (and trip) has made me realize just how SICK I am~:wtf::wtf:

I have been in the Carribean for a week. From the day I got here I've been HOME-SICK...OR, more like GARAGE-SICK!!! No JOKE!! I CANNOT believe I missed a 3-day weekend in my shop!!!! ARG!! I've sat in my room every day, overlooking an INCREDIBLE pool, the beach, swim-up bar and MORE, logging on to GJ, HotRod, many car and truck forums.....

Beleive me, I've tried to get out and enjoy....I rip myself out of my room, away from the computer and a stack of car mags and went to the beach for a few hours each day, but there's this HOLE in my gut that can only be filled by getting home and back to my shop....two more days...

(Now before you think I'm TOTALLY Crazy....it is a "work" trip, so Mrs E-tek couldn't come. I've entertained some customers here and there, but man, I'd rather be home!)

Mr. Tek!

You gotta problem. You need to seek...:Help:
But in all fairness, without your smoking wife around, would get kinda boring.

.....when every street corner and dumpster makes you look to see if anything is there like shelves or scrap metal or cabinets that would work in your garage.
