Thanks, Bill,

Ordered a pair of left and right. Never knew they existed, I had left, right and offset, never seen these ones.

Green handle, red handle, one cuts a curve to the left, one to the right, as far as expelling waste. Color code is same as aviation markings. Red on left, green for right. To remember, green and right have more letters in the words, red and left have less letters.

I ran up on a new couple of right and left about a year ago at a yard sale for $4. I don't think anyone else who saw them knew what they were for.

I hate to admit it, but I bought 10 pairs of these on one of the penny closeouts at Home Depot. They're my favorite snips now! I've got a red/green set in the car, at work, and in several places throughout the shop.

I saw these at HD too, but couldn't figure out how they were used.

Now I know.

It helped see thru the Witchcrafted Trance of Enough Tools.
Starting with some overdue air duct expansions, those snips will be welcome.

The tool that interested me was the bolt chamfer one. I have a few friends that run tire & brakes shops.

I don't need them. Already got Red and Green when on clearance - I think at HD. Must have been 2 or 3 years ago.

What's the difference between left and right?

Red ones cut from the left (unless you turn your work over or start at the other end of the cut)
Green ones cut from the right (unless you turn your work over or start at the other end of the cut)
