He picked up some really nice new and nearly new pieces this weekend. 150 bucks for all.

What an awesome pickup!!!!

Where did he get them?

Facebook marketplace from the Houston area. The guy had the new in the box polisher listed that peaked my interest so I messaged him to see if he would ship it. I mentioned that my son and I have a small collection of old Craftsman stuff and he stated he had other items he was about to list. He sent pics and offered to deliver halfway to where we live. My son was wanting to go to Houston anyway so they met up there and he picked it all up. He's got a pretty good interest in woodworking and is rebuilding an old house at the moment. Good stuff, good times

Neat find. It's awesome to see stuff that's been sitting that long. I recently grabbed a sealed set of Craftsman DOE wrenches. Planning on leaving them sealed up.

Love the sander / Polisher!

I just bought one or two of those gluing clamps, never knew what it was officially called. The things you learn here.

I agree
Those are collectibles and would bring big money on eBay.

For a budding woodworker I think you’d be better off with modern equipment instead of 50 year old museum pieces.

Those are worth collecting even if you weren't a collector. I normally roll my eyes at "Craftsman scores" but this one was actually really good!

Are you a collector or user ?

Those are nice collector pieces.

He and I are a little alike in that we collect and tinker. Guns, motorcycles, tools...doesn't matter. :)

He has been rebuilding an old house and has amassed quite a set of tools for a 25 year old. We have a few older Craftsman tools that are users. This batch of old ones probably won't see much, if any use.

His old Craftsman workbench and 3 inch Wilton bullet he freshened up. A friend of mine had bought some cabinet/ work benches and didn’t use the tops. I got two of them and glued them together for a 2 3/8 inch thick top work surface.
