225 - that looks like a pretty cool job but stressful at the same time. Ship (boat?) looks very clean and organized. Ship shape, as they say.

Meh, my career is done as far as I'm concerned. I drove truck until 2005, more than 20 years of it. Been fixing buses since then. I can take it or leave it, to be quite honest. Never want to drive again. This job might get us the construction loan we need to build our next home, I dunno. I'm making pretty good money, so I'll stay, I think, at least until I get enough and find something else to do.

Journeymen millwright for me working at a plywood mill. I'm working on the weekends doing preventative maintaience and anything else that broke on our veneer lathes during the week. Every weekend is different, probably my favorite part of my job.

I did a search, but couldn't find one where forum members told what they did for a living. It seems like this sure must have been discussed many times before and thought it would be interesting to see.

Maybe this is a bad idea, but what if we had separate sections for the main major groups----mechanics, welders, engineers, etc. Obviously, we all have in common that we do stuff in our garages, but it might be good to narrow it down for more specific areas of expertise.

Or maybe people just go to other industry-specific forums if that's what they're interested in, I don't know. Just a thought.

...classified.:wtf:

I'm in.....Consulting Engineer in Aeroacoustics (the combined science of aerodynamics and acoustics). Simply put, I make a living by sound attenuating large reciprocating diesel engine-generator sets as well as fixing other people's aerodynamic screw-ups.

I clean up peoples ****.

That's what I do, literally. Cleaned houses for a vacation rental company for the past 3 years and recently got bumped up to a team lead position. But that doesn't seem to be working out because the people in upper management are all bat **** crazy. :willy_nil

Guess this old geezer will have to apply for a greeter job at the local Wal-Mart.

I market a product for people who always feel worn down & sluggish & that have health concerns like me. I never had any energy. I was so tired that I would come home from work & spend the rest of the evening in my recliner. I was also on 7 prescription medications. I got fed up being like that & started researching better health. I found personalized nutritional supplements designed specifically for my needs. After taking the supplements for a short time, I felt great. I've been able to reduce the number of prescription medications I take & best of all, I'm not so tired anymore. It feels good to use a product that actually makes a difference. Do you know anyone that might want to know about a product like that?
