I've used a grey (zinc-based?) anti-seize forever. Messy. Does it (or any of them) actually work? Who knows. I haven't lived that long to know. Makes me feel better though.

Brand doesnt really appear make much difference I've found, I usually use what ever work supplies (for work), typically has been Permatex, Barnes dist.. IME copper is a lot better then the regular silver ****.

For my own use I have nickle flavor, CRC branded, got some off amazon a while back for a decent price, 16oz jar.

For the best answer to your question go to the mfg site and study the technical data they provide. You'll find the best product application for YOUR job at hand. You'll also find information on where NOT to use certain products.

I use the Jet Lube, there's Jet Lube Kopr Kote (fairly traditional) and Jet Lube SS-30 which is a lot more pure copper if you are having conductivity issues.

I use Bostik Never Seez copper. I got a pint of it years ago and it works well. Never had a problem getting anything apart when I've used it.

I use Rocol and that's what is supplied in bulk, while their products are considered expensive I do actually wonder if there's a difference between cheaper and more expensive brands.
