I am considering a new tool cart and deciding on color is the toughest part.

What color combos do y'all like? In no particular order, I am considering the following:

Supersonic Blue w/black trim
Storm Gray w/black trim
Combat Green w/black trim (my wife's favorite)
Cranberry w/black trim

Future resale is also a slight consideration. I think certain colors will always have a very limited audience and I would prefer to avoid that situation....if possible.

Storm grey and black would be among my choices. My cart has black-out trim/wheels and I think that's a great option.

White and black is cool. I'd probably buy, if I'm getting a new box, just classic red/chrome trim.

Kenosha red is pretty gorgeous. Different from what I call “Chinese red”, that cold red you see on absolutely everything. Kenosha red is a warmer tomato red closer to Ferrari red. My box may be faded. And it’s paint, not powder coated. But really beautiful.

Some of the other colors are trendy and may lose value compared to red. I think white is slick. The blue is nice. Depending on the cart, orange can be okay. Green looks kinda 80s to me. Dated. Kawasaki motorcycle color. Yellow was Porsche’s club racing color, so I always thought that was slick. The new matte colors or military colors are all pretty trendy and may be less desirable in the future.

I’d like to see retro colors. Snap On has a turquoise, which is meh. Matco had a pretty light blue. Like to see less saturated colors, more muted. European tool makers are better at this stuff. Japanese too.

Its a tough decision. I’d get red, but Kenosha red doesn’t match US general stuff.
