What is everybody's single favorite tool?

Mine has to be my Mastercraft Maximum 3K0 1/2" drive cordless electric impact gun.

After decades of fighting '65-'82 Corvette fixed-caliper 4-piston disc brakes, which occasionally simply defy bleeding (by pump-and-hold, Mityvac vacuum, Phoenix Injector, gravity, or any other method), my favorite tool now is the Motive Products Power Bleeder (www.motiveproducts.com); makes Corvette disc brake bleeding a one-person ten-minute job in one trip around the car. Best sixty bucks I ever spent, based on the "aggravation factor".

I heard alot of good things about the Motive Bleeders; probably the only drawback for working on a number of different cars is that you need different adapters; I'm using the MityVac that is powered by my compressor; seems to get the job done.

I bought my wife one of those several years ago. It's pink.

Yes, it came in a kit consisting of the screwdriver, slip-joint pliers, and some kitchen shears (Kershaw)...all with pink handles.

Tough call, but its between these two. They are the tools that I use the most.

Tektronix Oscilloscope, I use this on every car I wire, or trouble shoot. I would be lost without it. You wouldn't belive the problems I have solved with this bad boy.

Autronic+Analyzer.JPG

Autronic Analyzer. One of my Favorite wide band sensors on the market. Its nothing hugely fancy, but tuning blind is just that, and with some of the sketchy units I have worked with in the past, It was time to pony up and purchase my own.

My favorite tool; it's between my angle grinder and this ratchet.

I don't know that I actually need one, but I have always liked the way that ratchet looks, and I have always wanted one of those! Is the ratchet as handy as I suspect?

As I have been getting older, my favorite tool has been getting more in line with my brothers, for another reason.
He is handy with a credit card!
I like cash, as my favorite tool. If I find a bargin, it's nice to have a stash to pick it up.
My next favorite, is my brain. Forgeting it, has gotten me into trouble:headscrat
USING it get's me out:thumbup: .

Third on the list, is the one I am using to save me money at the time. After that, would probably be one of my woodworking tools (love the smell of fresh cut wood, unfortunatly still house type projects, no time for woodworking yet). My Eurekazone system. Well thought out portable system.

Yes, its long enough to get some torque and the swivel head allows you get into tight spaces and ratchet off camber.

Snap On made a pink one???? OMG

:shocking:

Here's the complete kit. They have been beating around the house for years, so have a bit of wear. It has to be the best ratcheting screwdriver I've used. The shears aren't too shabby, either.

The fact they are bright pink helps to find them again after they have been subjected to SWMBO's filing system...;)

I don't know if it's my favorite, but the tool I seem to be using the most is my Leatherman "New Wave".It doesn't seem to matter if I'm at work or home,it gets used at least ten times a day.It has to save me about a dozen trips to the toolbox every day. When used within it's limitations,it's a very handy tool to carry with you all the time. Now,if they could figure out how to get a 16 ounce hammer added to it,I could save another dozen trips every day.

Havent Heard from you in a while George. Nice to see ya haha

Id actually like to throw out an air hammer into this thread. I am now starting to really appreciate them. Also, if you get the adpaters for screwdriver bits, they run circles around a hand impact driver.

Rickster, is that ratchet an SK?

Yes, it's an SK. I've been watching ebay for the Snap-on version but I can't bid because the price always gets too close to the price new from their website.
