What sort of things can you do with a scope?

What do you mean? Are you asking what I use the scope for on a regular basis, or what a scope is used for over all?

I install and tune engine management systems. The scope allows me to do everything from check injectors, calculate rpm, and check hall and mag triggers. Helps me to calculate duty cycles, pulse widths, count teeth on sensors you can’t easily get to (well, its easier to hook up a scope in a harness and count the teeth then to pull apart a VW crank/cam sensor. Trouble shoots ANY sensor on an engine. Gives me a rough estimate on where to set fuel tables by artificially pumping up map sensors etc etc etc.

I have two. The first is a channel lock. I forget the model number, but it works a little like a pipe wrench in that it holds on harder than you're squeezing - If that makes sense.

The other is my 4lb sledge hammer.
