I decided to cut down my top mat from the bottom cabinet and use it in the top of my top cabinet. Dual mistake - I did a sloppy job cutting it to fit the top, which I regret, and now even when full the top cabinet slides around a little.
I really like the look and feel of that mat up top, and I don’t like the vinyl runners at Lowe’s I considered putting in the middle. I know lots of you just buy 44” bottom cabinets and put wood tops on them or tuck them under counters, you’re not even using those top mats! Sell them to me for an unreasonable price, because HF’s parts dept claims they don’t carry that part.
