Machining related, Keith Fenner is one chap who always gets and retains my interest. Doubleboost is another one to check out. You'll take some time getting used to his accent though. :D

If you want something a bit more relaxing.....open up Rich Man Poor Man. Haven't seen that since '76. Never get tired of Susan Blakely or Kay Lenz.

Eric the car guy and Scotty Kilmer. Although Kilmer is more unconventional.
as far as auto mechanic work:

Eric the Car Guy - decent basic information - not a car guru but everything is pretty accurate that he shows you, nothing I can object to.

Scotty Kilmer - fun to watch because he is outrageous, but do NOT take any advice from this Beavis when it comes to important things like brakes, steering, suspension - it could get you hurt or killed

Paul "Scanner" Danner - is a car guru, especially when it comes to troubleshooting and problem diagnosis, unfortunately many of his youtube videos are not free :(

Eric and scanner danner for automotive. Eric has a better presentation IMHO, but Danner is more knowledgeable, again IMHO....

I enjoy a lot of Adam Savage's Youtube stuff. arduinoversusevil, askwoodman, tested, abom, but there's plenty of non tool stuff also worth watching;

Anna Sentina
Premier Guitar
Truth Guitar
dave's world of fun stuff
all good channels

and anything that says
Noisia remix
Trombone Shorty
Sarah Jarosz

Also the whole concert of Talking Heads' 'Stop Making Sense' is on there, definitely worth an hour of your time.

Never get tired of Susan Blakely or Kay Lenz.
No, you never do.

I watch Oxtoolco (Tom Lipton), Abom79 (Adam Booth) Welding Tips and Tricks (Jody Collier) and TurnWright Machine Works (Kieth Fenner) the most.

oxtoolco, Keith Rucker and Abom79 seem to be the tool junkies of the machinist that I watch anyway. I think the tools they show are just as interesting as their machine work. Keith Fenner also has a very good channel to watch as he is very good at explaining the how, what and why's of what he is doing. I also subscribe to a few metal detecting channels and then a few daily vlog channels. I am looking at getting my first motorcycle when spring is a little closer so I have been watching a lot of moto vlogs lately.

There is a GJ user named, MechanicNamedJohn.

Watching his YouTube videos about his pristine tool collection, inspired me to organize differently and at the same time, I created the Frankenratchet and bought a few tools, I had seen that I hadn't previously considered.

Here's a link to the videos that helped me with organizing.

Also, here's a video that any guy wouldn't mind watching once. More times if his kids are into monster trucks.

I came in to be sure Keith Rucker got a mention. I loved the restore vids he did on an old Oliver table saw. Also Keith Fenner, both are good.

I am now also a big fan of HULA HOOP WOMAN!

Besides some of the other ones mentioned (although I think Scotty Kilmer is more or less a hack):

A Canadian with a thing for Lindsay Lohan doing a ground-up restoration on a Mazda Cosmo (if you really want to know what it's like to build a car, this is your channel):
https://www.youtube.com/user/aaroncake

One of the nicest guys on Youtube (him and Eric, anyway) and an absolute GENIUS with DSM cars. A+ production values.

Where you go to LEARN diagnosis (Duane is the man!)

A real guy who works in a real garage:

Also, as others have said, Ericthecarguy and ScannerDanner - both worth the time. Now go have fun squandering weeks of your life away on YouTube.
