Stephen Cox is another one from this forum who has a channel. He does videos on repairs of commercial trucks and heavy equipment. His channel is sphinx4785. Like ScannerDanner it can be kind of a fun, see the problem and try to guess what's wrong before he tells you then watch if it fixes the issue.

She is easy on the eyes, but her skills, knowledge and techniques are questionable.

Agree she's hot, but she's one of the Ana White-ish crowd who goes wild with construction lumber and pocket holes.

Craig Sommerfeld should get drug out in the street and caned for ever inventing that ****.

I think April is better than Ana White. Yes she does use pocket holes a lot but for the types of things she makes I think that's ok. The actual design on them is at least somewhat sound. I've tried to build a few projects from Ana White that my girlfriend wanted and the whole time I kept thinking "WHO WOULD DESIGN THIS LIKE THIS?" all kinds of weird like every single cut in the whole project is at 2.5degrees. Then they suggest doing it all with a circular saw.

I've built a few WWMM projects, a few Jay Bates projects, but I've never built any of AWs. That's not because I don't like how they were made. It's just because I don't need any of the things she has built. She builds a lot more of the kinds of stuff you'd buy at Restoration Pottery Pier and Barrel or Ikea and I think it's better or at least more fun for people to go out with some cheap wood and pocket hole themselves an entryway table than buying a honeycomb cardboard project in a box from the store.

I still watch her videos though even though I haven't built any of her projects because they are fun. She's got a warm personality and some energy that's unique to her videos amongst all the other wood working channels. I like seeing how excited she gets when something actually works that she was unsure about.

And also the other reason...

But you also have to admit if it was some ugly fat guy with a warm personality shooting 400 pocket holes in a nursery bookcase, you wouldn't watch it.
