Just picked up this contraption last night. It is a Yuba Sawsmith, it came with multiple attachments; for a disc sander, drill functions, etc.. pretty much everything in the flyer below. I really bought it for the base, a nice craftsman crown-top cabinet in really good shape. Might fool around with it a little, try the different attachments and such before it goes on to its' next owner. It has a 1hp, variable speed motor, from 1700 to 6300rpm, 7 speeds.

Oh, someone else has one. I'm actually a Shopsmith guy and I basically bought it for the original Sawsmith cabinet. I'll keep the saw though, maybe I'll use it. Mostly it's just a bench with a funky saw on it.
Congrats!
Looks in great shape and that's a great color combo.

Ah the good old days, when a guy could build anything with a RAS and a drill press.

Yes, but this RAS is also a drill press. There is actually a bracket that you can mount the Shopsmith attachments, like a bandsaw and jointer, and power from the RAS. Coool.

yeah, this one came with all the attachments as far as I can tell. I will post up some follow up pics when I get a chance. It also came with a couple of grinder wheels, still in the craftsman packaging, as well as saw blades, also in the the original packaging. Bought it from an estate, from the original owner's son.

I'll just slip myself in second. Do you have the bracket that would mount the attachments?

used to have one. you can get the original drawings, parts list, manual, etc. from them if you email them. I ended up scrapping it as nobody wanted it and it took up too much space and really didn't have near the accuracy of a good scms...btw, you are missing the slide out table and hardware for it.
