I just picked this parts cleaner, I found it on CL. It needs to have the lid refinished, there's surface rust on the untainted metal surfaces, however it has never been used, it is the 35 gallon model.

I will be using it in my newly built hobby shop (36'x85'x12'). The cleaner ZEP recommends is about $125.00 per 5 gal so the amount of money to fill this thin is not cheap. I'm leaning towards the TS stuff @ $40.00. I read here in the Journal that HF sells something similar for about $20.00 per 5 gal. Does anyone have any info on the HF cleaning fluid?

BTW, I paid $200.00 for the unit.

TIA,

I don't think you have to use the ZEP cleaner, you can use whatever you want.
$125 for 5 gallons sounds like alot.
Good luck

TSC has good stuff for about 30 bucks per 5 gallon. It s not water based though, and that may make a difference.
