I'm looking for a good 2-3 ton bottle jacket at a modest price, under $100, and it can't be made in China. Zinko, made in Japan, seems to make a wide line that certainly aren't cheap, and their basic intro jacks start around $60 which fits the bill. Anyone use one of these? Any other brands to consider? Thanks

I was looking at the Strongway bottle jacks made in Minnesota.
Specifically, a low profile jack.... in the Northern Tool catalog item number 46195-4255, the 2 ton jack is a double ram with a low profile of 5 15/16" with a lift to 14 1/2" rise $57+ shipping.

Strongway products are exclusively available at Northern Tool and Equipment and are built in ISO certified facilities and engineered using the same systems as Aerospace Technologies and the Automotive OEM sector.

Oh, that's terrible that northern tool promotes there Strongway line...suggesting its American with this...
Each Strongway jack is built in ISO certified facilities (American standards)and engineered using the same systems as Aerospace Technologies and the Automotive OEM sector. The Air/Hydraulic Bottle Jack is also tested for reliability and safety to meet strict ASME PALD 2009 standards and requirements.

It’s pretty common in todays manufacturing across multiple categories.

My favorite is “Designed and Tested in the USA”, Then two pages down.

Made in China.

Just about all of todays tools regardless of where they are built, will claim that they meet or exceed Asme Standards.

If that Strongway jack was made in the US, there'd be a giant "Made in USA" visible on the sticker in that picture. Plus, it wouldn't be USA at that price.
