So I've been a DIYer for years.
I haven't bought a new stud finder in about 10 years.
In searching I found a riddle with in Zircon.
They have 4 SuperScan model series that look like each other. The sub models in each model series just replicates each other.
Model lines are Hx, Kx, Mx, and Wx.
x = 1 thru 4, 1 being the least $ and least feature, and 4 being loaded and most $$.
Seems all but the Wx were introduced in 2020 months apart, and the Wx being introduced this year at some hardware show.
They all look alike, and after comparing data sheets, but for the color, they seem to be the exact same sub model specs in each model line.
Did they do this for the big box stores... sell one model series to the Orange box store, another to the Blue box store, and so on?
Or is there a difference I'm not finding???
