They seem to be very different. The Znex is 3/8 while the SO is 1/4. Battery charge times are different (SO is either 20 or 25 min - both are listed on the page - while the Znex is 45). Output torque (Znex is higher but it is 3/8 vs 1/4 SO). COO is not listed for the Znex but the SO is USA. Weight is also different.

Don't know anything about the Znex but 3/8 would be more meaningful to me.

I sell Znex. They are a really good product. I sell the ratchets and impacts. The only thing I don't like about them is they come with nickel batteries. I am spoiled using Lithium batteries on my Ingersol Rand set. Otherwise, good product, good warranty, nice price.

Both ratchets I listed are 3/8" I don't know where you seen a 1/4" but Snap On does sell both sizes. My main question I have with them is if they are made by the same people. They look an awful lot alike with the shape of the handle and the trigger shape. The only thing that keeps me from buying right now is that it is not a Lithium Ion tool.

I don't know about their ratchets, but their impact guns are bad-***.

I had to borrow my neighbor's one time to break lose a shock mount bolt on my '78 Cadillac.

The Snap-on 1/4" is the exactly the same as the 3/8" except for the square drive, I remember Pedro telling us that when he was here.
