They even gave me BS as to how Northern Tool isn't a direct competitor because they are able to get special pricing. Ummm, right.

Even if they wouldn't give me a discount, I'm not sure I wouldn't have said something in response to this. I would want to clarify to them that they are a direct competitor. Every retailer has special pricing from manufacturers.

You realize this both a joke that I was making trying to be funny, not pointing at anyone in particular, and the fact that I have used the coupon twice now and gotten 30% off, right?
