Anyone have a Zoro coupon they aren't going to use?

(I wasn't sure where to put this so please move if this is the wrong place, thanks)

No coupons - where are they usually found?

Would seem to be a good thing, as their prices aren't especially low.

If all else fails put something in your shopping cart but don't check out. That sometimes triggers Zoro to email you a coupon.

The coupon code is "**** or get off the pot":lol_hitti

From the Zoro Deals Thread

I went through the Zoro calendar and took down all the codes in it for the year.
Surely they will be other codes and sales each month.

January 13 - $40 off $200+ - Code SNOWBALL

March 9-10 - Free Tool Pouch with $175+ - Code CARRIER
April 13 - $35 off $125+ - Code RAINING
May 19 - 25% off $175+ - Code BLOSSOM
June 27 - 20% off $200+ - Code WARMINGUP
July 18-19 - $50 off $250+ - Code COOKOUT
August 8 - 10% off $100+ - Code AUTUMN
September 5-6 - $25 off $100+ - Code FALLTIME
October 11 - 10% off 125+ or 20% off 225+ - Code USETOOLS

That's funny, I've bought a few things from Zoro specifically because they had better prices than anywhere else. They're my go-to for Proto tools. Is that unusual?

I've never bought tools via Zoro, but on industrial stuff, they're don't seem to be less expensive than Grainger, Travis or any of the several other out there.

The only coupon I have found is $10 off $150+ with coupon code FEBDEAL. They also have free shipping on orders of $50+.

From what Ive seen Zoro is a shitload cheaper than Grainger.

Always grateful for a head's-up for a bargain and with the myriad items both Grainger and Zoro offer obviously neither of us has shopped even a small percentage of them. What, other than Proto, should one be buying on-line from Zoro rather than Grainger? (BTW - Grainger has several levels of discounts they offer to large volume purchasers. Their on-line price is not what the big guys pay, but I don't get those discounts.)

FWIW, I need a couple of 6205 2RS bearings. In SKF brand, they're $28.80 at Grainger and $20.64 at Zoro. So 40% more at Grainger, indeed a shitload cheaper at Zoro.

Zoro = Grainger

It's just the general consumer front end, instead of the Grainger MRO front end where they jack the prices up - though, as mentioned, they've got several discount levels - kinda like NAPA does.

Zoro is hit or miss, some stuff is way more expensive, other times it is the same, and a few times they are the cheapest. When the 25% and 30% coupons are available, they can be the best price anywhere. So don't expect everything to be a deal, but if you know what you want and you can wait for a flash sale you can save a few thousand dollars pretty easy.

Grainger MSC are both way over priced on everything, They exist because of big companies like mine where we use them because we can get everything there and only use one supplier, typically we spend 1-2k a day just in the maintenance department where I work. for example I ordered a 10 inch pair of knipex pliers wrench yesterday and the best price grainger would give was like 90$
