Their servers are having issues. I hit buy at 11:02 with the code. It came back with an internal server error. Then it wouldn't take the code anymore. I called in. My original order went through and they were able to pull it up. It showed the 30% off. They gave me the order #. I waited awhile and went back in. Now it shows up in my recent orders. Hell of a deal with an additional $400 coming from Miller on a 211 and accessories. That puts it just about 50% off on my order, $940 in discount and rebates on an $1880 total order.

Trying to deal with the crashing websight felt a bit like black friday. Got my Kennedy machinist box ordered though, so I'm happy.

I tried again and it is not taking the code anymore probably because I used it already on the cancelled order!!! Go Figure

Zoro made some noises not long ago about improving the website. Anyone know if it's easier now to search for products?

It's still a painfull experience. And check out today was almost a exercise in assisted suicide. I don't know who's bright idea it was to spend the coin to make these "sweeping" changes but it didn't work. Searching has always been a PITA and after a few orders its a given in the fact that it *****. But getting it all paid for today took me almost 45 minutes.

But all that aside, another great day of savings, thanks Zoro!! :rocker:

SO what's the deal on the Miller rebates now? Previously it stated purchase another $150 but I didn't notice anywhere on the update site any specific amount. Maybe I'm blind...

That 211 mig is a great deal for a great machine. So tempting...

Guess I'm setting this one out. That feels so wrong. haha

I"m confused on the rebate too.

It says "Purchase a qualifying Miller® machine, plus additional Miller or Hobart® products totaling at least the amount of the "Machine and Additional Purchase" rebate amount for the purchased machine."

Does that mean the accessories need to total $200 since the welder rebate is $200 and accessories+welder rebate is $400? Or does that mean you need to buy $400 in accessories on top of the welder.

EDIT:
It is more clear at the bottom of the rebate. Need to buy $400 in accessories for the 211.
"To qualify for the Machine with Additional Product Purchase rebate amounts you must purchase a qualifying machine plus at least the rebate dollar amount in additional Hobart or Miller products and submit a completed rebate form."

Slow checkout but I got my much needed Paslode framing nailer saving roughly $100 off list. Smokin' deal and got some nails to boot. Thanks Zoro.
Oh and I know the stuff will get to my door by the end of the week.

After much research, these are winners with the 30% off.

Big Gearwrench indexable prybars. One is extendable from 29" to 48".

The other GW prybars are not priced good enough to spring for, as Tool Discounter and others can beat the price or get so close it's not worth jumping on right now.

But these two were.

And checkout was fast using Paypal...just FYI.

I ordered the Milwaukee 2763-20 impact wrench. It showed 12 in stock.
I have no idea why they cancelled. I emailed them but got no response.

Call them. I had a problem last time where order was cancelled, might have been wrong expiration date on CC or something. They fixed it promptly.

I may have given the wrong 3 digit security code from the back of my credit card. I did it from memory and could have possibly made a mistake. It could have been any number of things but they don't specify in the email they sent me. The sale is over now. I didn't need the thing anyway. Their loss, not mine.

I bought a few hammers and a nice Milwaukee 18/12 volt charger. I saved about $125. It did take a while for things to get through the checkout, but I was patient. The charger is back ordered, but at 30% off I wanted to make sure I got it.

I saved over $300.

I shopped right thru to 5:12 pm EST and the code expired! No new toys for me. :(

I finally found $200 worth of stuff I "need" and hit submit at exactly 5pm EST.... code expired! Oh well... saved $140. I'll keep it in my cart & be ready for the next one.

They will honor the sale price usually if you placed your order during the offer window. Made the same mistake, one call no issues . There customer service is top notch.

I made out pretty good today buying my first welder ever. Miller 211. The only problem was finding enough accessories to get the $400 back in rebates. I'm assuming it needed to be $400 after the discount so I had to find $572 of accessories to go with it. I knew I wasn't going to be at my computer around noon so I placed everything in my cart and then signed in on my phone. I got it to the point where you enter the coupon code. At noon on the dot I started checking out. I didn't think it was ever going to go through but by 12:05 I was checked out on the phone.
I almost ordered the Hobart 210MPV for $800 from farm and fleet last weekend. I'm so glad I waited. Everything was in stock and shipped out today already.

Since I have nothing as far as supplies here is what I came up with:

G1666971 Light Industrial MIG Welders MIG Welder,Handheld,120/230VAC Expedited Shipping Available $1,267.03 1 $886.93

G3533311 MIG Welding Wire MIG Welding Wire,70S3,0.030,2 lb Expedited Shipping Available $11.99 2 $16.79

G2566882 Running Gear and Cylinder Rack Running Gear and Cylinder Rack Expedited Shipping Available $98.35 1 $68.84

G3737492 Protective Cover Protective Cover,Millermatic 140,180,211 Expedited Shipping Available $47.05 1 $32.93

G3728137 Workbenches ArcStation Workbench,Work Surface 29x29 Expedited Shipping Available $275.05 1 $192.53

G4572181 Welding Protection Pack Welding Protection Pack,Large Expedited Shipping Available $182.40 1 $127.68

G0266077 MIG Welding Accessory Kits M 100/150 MIG Consumable Kit,0.30 Expedited Shipping Available $22.93 1 $16.05

I've only ordered 3 or 4 times from Zoro so I don't have a lot of experience with them but I had some pretty bad customer service from them this time around.

I ordered a green Rubbermaid Brute trash can last night. Today I got an email saying this item was discontinued and they cancelled it. I called them and asked if they could switch it to a different color. The guy said no problem and proceeds to charge me full price and shipping. He said since the promo code was used already there was no way I could use it again. Long story short after flipping out and being on hold for 26 min they finally gave it to me.

During that 26 min I compared everything to Home Depot and I really didn't save much anyway. Really wasn't worth the hassle.

After a 26 min phone call to order a trash can, it was delivered yesterday except it isn't a trash can at all.

http://www.zoro.com/i/G0276227/

It's a Rubbermaid cart, the invoice says red Brute trash can. I might keep it except its ugly and only rated for 100 lbs. I hope I don't get the same customer service guy as last time.

I hope my above Miller order goes better.

Thems said something about my card,
I logged into my card and there was the authorization, so I guess it was their system..:dunno:

I calls them and paid with another card and it went through;)

gives them a call they'll most likely honor the deal

I recently purchased a compressor so my "tool" fund was completely depleted for this sale. I knew this and tried to avoid GJ today so that I didn't get depressed that I couldn't jump on a few good deals. Now that the sale is over, I'm going through some of yall's buys to add to my list of "must haves" for the next flash sale. Their search function is killing me and I'm having a hell of a time finding some of the items. For the guys who posted Zoro's item numbers, THANKS!

Getting a fluke ir thermometer: http://www.zoro.com/i/G5105177/

Also a couple odds and ends I've been needing, Milwaukee power cord, Milwaukee m18 power source, and some rust oleum clear coat.

I've been wanting the m18 power source, anyone able to help me find it?

By far the best thing I have found for woodworkers is a Starrett double square. They have both 4" and 6" versions.

Other items I have found that are less than Rockler/Woodcraft/HD/Lowes:
Makita random orbital sander
Kreg adhesive tape and tracks (for building jigs)
Kreg router table - they have the steel base, top, and fence sold separately
Kreg screws for use with pocket hole jig
Bosch Colt palm router

I found these are NOT competitively priced:
Porter Cable 7518 router
Bessey K-body clamps

Please post more woodworking tool ideas if you find them...

Which Starrett double squares? I'm not finding any that are close to affordable/realistic in price.

Thanks for pointing out the Kreg router table and fence! I've considered purchasing the fence and making the table, but the prices on these 2 are REALLY GOOD.

G0266077 MIG Welding Accessory Kits M 100/150 MIG Consumable Kit,0.30 Expedited Shipping Available $22.93 1 $16.05

Thanks for posting what all you added for your accessories. I never really considered adding the "workmate" style welding table.

Just curious, you mentioned you almost ordered the Hobart 140MPV for $800 from farm and fleet, did you mean the 210MVP, or the 140? Either way, I think you got a way better deal. I've been planning on getting the Hobart 140 ($450 roughly), but with this Miller deal (hopefully the rebates won't disappear), I will probably make the plunge and get the 211.

Also, I was looking at wire and looked up the Hobart .030 options to see how large of a spool I could order. Does anyone know the difference between the 70S2, 70S3, and 70S6?

Here is the 4" square, model 13A ($62.65 before sale, $62.75 at Amazon, $77.50 at Woodcraft)
http://www.zoro.com/i/G3739321/

And the 6" double square, model 13C ($79.90 before sale, $80 at Amazon, $92.50 at Woodcraft)
http://www.zoro.com/i/G0774252/

Zoro has several other squares as well - search for "Starrett square" to find a page full of different sizes and angles

Why are those so much better than the ones at, say, Home Depot? Are they significantly more durable? The price difference is pretty staggering, so I'm just wondering what you get for the money. Thanks.

Ditto.

It looks like they did a pretty bad paint job on the ones in the picture too. How do the measurement markings ink/paint hold up? I would have assumed stamped or etched markings at that cost.
