How the heck are you guys getting all these Zoro 20% off codes? Zoro sends me more 10% off codes than I could ever use, but no 20% codes in a year or more. Zoro has been mailing me two postcards every month with 10% off codes on them. Occasionally I get a third postcard with a higher discount on select items.

If I leave something in my cart they only send me a 10% off coupon to encourage me to buy.

I was having the same problem and all of a sudden, a couple of weeks ago, the 20% off coupons started showing up without me doing anything special.

While I am buying some stuff from Zoro, I am finding that on average, their prices are higher than their competitors and the 20% off coupon only provides parity. Your milage may vary (YMMV).

The stuff I ordered yesterday from Zoro had good prices on everything except one item. The overall order was a decent deal with my 10% off. I ordered some extra stuff I had been thinking about for a while so as to not pay the $5 shipping.

I'm a fan of Zoro but it's a crapshoot with their pricing . I recently had to purchase a new magliner handtruck and Zoro's price was competitive with the other online retailers and then with a 20% coupon the handtruck ended up being almost $50 cheaper than anyone else online. I've picked up knipex plier wrenches, Stahlwille fastgrip pliers, Gedore combination wrenches, etc. all for very good prices (with 20-25% coupon) but there are some items that i've looked at on Zoro.com and their pricing is high. So it just depends on the item.

This has been my experience as well. It definitely pays to cross shop each item.

I don't spend a lot, but have spent several thou in the past couple of years. Leaving stuff in my cart doesn't result in any more than a 10% off offer, only after a couple of days, if I even get a follow-up offer at all (perhaps a quarter of the time). I wonder if there is a "spending limit" above which they are more generous with the codes. Or perhaps b/c I almost always only use codes already when I do need to order (often I will just take the 10% b/c I need something and can't wait more than a few days for it). Being owned by Grainger (or is it vice versa), it really can't be denting their profit margin a whole lot. Sure the vast majority of their customers (purchasing on AMZ or eBay, etc) don't even know about the coupon codes, or rarely wait for them. FSUwelder1212, perhaps its just a matter of "the more you use, the more we'll give 'em to ya".

Login, put stuff in your cart, and then the next day you’ll often get a 15% coupon mailed to you…

And then I made a purchase with 15% off, and when that shipped they gave me another 20% off coupon. Ha, the cycle continues…
