A google forum search for "zoro coupon" and similar search terms brings up this thread. Probably lots of non-members using codes. I suggest only sharing via PM.

Unfortunately, I haven't received a promo code from Zoro in several years now so I don't have anything to share. Maybe I'm on a blacklist because I only place orders with codes that are shared with me here :ROFLMAO:

I used to get lots of 20% off coupons. A few years ago started seeing less. I opened a couple of other accounts with different email addresses and would occasionally get a 20% off on them. I never used these accounts for purchases and figured they might send me coupons to get me to buy. The account that I do use for purchases seemed to get more coupons. For the past few months all I get is 10% off in any of the accounts. I deleted all the extra accounts the other day. Got tired of getting the 10% ones. I still occasionally get a 20% off in the mail at my work, we don’t use Zoro much there. I usually get the same mailing at home with 10%. I think they are more appt to send 20% to business addresses. Seems like they are cutting back. Got some great deals years ago when they occasionally had 25-30% coupons without restrictions. Not as much these days.

Their sales must be taking a hit. For most items I look at, Zoro list price / MSRP is above what you'd pay at almost any other vendor. The 20% discount was usually needed to make the item cheaper.

10-15% discount may only get the price on par with other vendors, making it questionable if it's worth the hassle with the coupons. All I can think of is that some large companies may buy from Zoro and not care if they're paying over market price?

The primary reason I use them is selection, not worried about counterfeits, good customer service. No idea how they handle returns.

Sadly I only discovered Zoro about a year ago. I didn’t realize they have been around very long.

I do tons of purchasing for the business, and those 20% off coupons have saved me thousands of dollars in the time I’ve been using them. I order boxes and packing materials, restocks of fasteners, snap rings and clamps, you name it. Sometimes I have to buy a package of 1000 of etc to get the real good price, but that’s ok when it’s for inventory and saving so much. I get a lot of tools there too, but often I am just adding a few things to the cart with the business order, telling myself that I just saved so much on this other stuff for inventory, that I can justify adding a few toys too.

The shipping alone is great. Shipping pallets of boxes and foam rolls is not cheap and not fun to pay for. It’s been a real blessing for me this year. I can put in a big volume inventory resupply order, get a handful of tools for (what feels like) free when it’s in with the savings, and walk away still far cheaper than my usual sources, sometimes several hundreds. Sales slowed down a little this year and I feel like how much I’ve saved with Zoro has almost made up for it, seriously.

Since the start I’ve assumed it’s too good to be true and won’t last. So to hear they have been doing these coupons for several years makes me sad I didn’t find them sooner. Or maybe I did and their websites UI turned me off. It’s often not easy to find stuff, but I’ve learned many tricks (often I have google search their website for me rather than their own search).

a little more praise for Zoro, they are willing to retroactively refund sales tax up to 6 months if you were exempt. So if your purchases are sales tax exempt you can provide them the dated documentation and get the money back. I just received exactly 40 refunds from them a few weeks ago. I just sent the documentation and a week later they all rolled in over a hour period. I was curious if they would do that. Years and years ago McMaster did that for me too. McMaster is an amazing vendor but once I grew to the point of buying higher volumes I discovered that I can get most things for half the price or better if I was willing to order 12+ month supplies.

My 20%'ers have dried up as well... I perhaps ordered from zoro 8-10 times in the past four months. I would pretty much get a new 20% off coupon emailed to me every time I used one, and a few more on postcards in physical mail. Stopped about a month ago, best I've seen since is 15%.

For those that haven't used their customer support, it is excellent. US based call centers, they answer the phone and usually fix problems or issues (or process returns) quickly.

But yeah, without the 20% discount, Amazon or other sources are typically cheaper and even faster delivery (though Zoro is typically very fast, except for drop-shipped items which are dependent on the manufacturer).

On the Sept. 15, Rakuten had 10% cashback on top of 15% off, which depending on if business is paying for it, might favor your wallet more in the end

I just made my first return. Ordered the wrong size threadmills. I clicked a few buttons and had a shipping label for fedex to send it back. Had to drop off at my local walgreens.

Placed another order and one of the plastic locline valves was broken when I opened it up last night. Calling customer service to see if they will just send another.

Glad we could help you out, but I think you'll find there's a lot more to Garage Journal than Zoro promo codes. Whatever your hobby, interest, or vocation, you'll find someone here on the forum who shares it. There's a wealth of information, with over 291,000 members now, contributing their knowledge. So, have a look around, enjoy the scenery; there's a big world out there beyond the Hot Deals forum.

Has anyone ever had zoro give you the run around on shipping a product after using coupon? I know it’s drop shipped from mfg and I know mfg has inventory but zoro has been delaying shipment for a couple months.

I had two 20% off coupons in July so I used one to purchase a refrigerator and the other to purchase a freezer. Maxed out discount on both.

They shipped refrigerator in two weeks no issue, but I feel like they are purposely delaying shipping my freezer. I notice price has increased by several hundred dollars since I purchased as well.

Probably incompetence / failure of process rather than malice. I had a straight $25 discount code that I used on a case of Dawn dish soap. It didn't ship, and then went backordered. I finally asked Zoro customer service when it would likely ship and they said probably never and then they cancelled the order. The $25 discount code? Gone.

I doubt that it has anything to do with using a promo code.

Correct. For anything drop-shipped, Zoro is just the order-taker. The fulfillment is on the manufacturer, who apparently has dropped the ball. Not much Zoro can do besides cancel the order and refund your $$$... or, you wait it out.

I've only only seen delays on things that are drop shipped from them. Sometimes they'll have the same product with more than one provider. So I ordered a lot of stuff and it came from all over, and one particular provider was sending them out as they were becoming available. I've seen that specifically with zephyr bits and I think I saw this also with some things from wright tool.

The 20% off was the reason I was buying Tekton stuff from there instead of Amazon.
$157 on zoro vs $150 on amazon for a 1/2" deep socket set.
The 20% off coupon made more sense than the 5% Amazon points or the 10% using Tekton directly.

Some of their Gedore deals have been good enough for me not to worry about a 20% coupon but those seem to be drying up too. I'm also not sure who pays the Demininus now on drop shipped items ? Since it's shipped directly , does the courier collect from us or is that included in the price ? I was about to buy some 100g hammers but didn't see that line item when I went to check out which made me think the courier would call in me for it if I didn't see the line item on the invoice. Before I could ask , the following morning the price had gone up a few hundred percent so I didn't spend anymore time finding out.

I still check Zoro every few days or so.
