Those are insane offers. Just to confirm, you must have the CapitalOne app installed on your cell phone, correct?

Guess I need to look into that - then hope I get one of the insane offers!

I have a Capital One Credit Card. For my offers, Zoro is typically 2% back or 0.5% higher than your everyday 1.5% cash back. The highest offer for Zoro I've seen through my Capital One card is 5% cash back.

I wish I had your offers!

I am assuming it also requires having a Capital One credit card?
Correct. (EDIT - maybe not, see next post! My bad.)

The Zoro offer of 2% back is in addition to the everyday 1.5%, so you get a total of 3.5% (disbursed separately). And, I think the highest I've seen was also 5% via the typical offers (NOT with the "app" on the phone).

I had no idea the phone app could offer such high kickbacks. I'd be nervous about placing an order expecting the high kickback, then never receiving it...

It’s the Capital One Shopping app. It’s a separate app from Capital One Banking app. It will also install an extension in your internet browser and track you. You’ll have to decide if that’s for you.

It states you don’t need an account/card with them to install it.

I’ve gotten over $500 back from it total since installing 2 years ago and I’m expecting another $200 from Zoro

And I keep saying it’s cash back, but you redeem it towards gift cards from about 75 different places. It seems to vary monthly

Thanks for mentioning this. I immediately got the 48% Zoro rewards offer - the rewards are all giftcards towards places I don't necessarily need anything from right now. Have you had any luck using a 20% off coupon and still receiving the capital one rewards?

You can only use coupon codes from Capital One Shopping, to combine with rewards.

T&C's say other coupons may (read: will) void the reward.

I'm still only seeing 2% at Zoro.

BTW, it seems the "catch" with the Capital One Shopping rewards is that it isn't CASH back. You get credits which can be used to buy gift cards. However - the gift card selection varies / rotates. Currently, both Lowe's and Home Depot cards are available, but there are Reddit threads where people were unhappy (to put it mildly) about the changing selection of gift cards.

Here's a link to the currently available gift cards you can get with your rewards - you must have a Capital One account, AND be logged in, to view this:

I received the 48% back offer and I’m thinking of trying it on a Milwaukee die grinder since they don’t seem to go on sale.
Clark’s has those on sale for $167 plus $10 shipping right now. Still not 48% off but better than $229.

Be aware, Home Depot's policy is to match qualifying online retailers now. Clarks may not be directly listed on the policy page, but the would not be excluded from any of Home Depots stipulations. I would usually mention when doing so, that Clarks is an authorized Milwaukee dealer which can be searched here (listed under Car Parts Distributing Inc). Shipping is considered when matching.

Hey if anyone has a 20% off coupon I could use one. Working on a hardware and tooling organization project with some Lista cabinets in my home shop. Those dividers and partitions sure do add up after awhile.

Another 15% off coupon...

The bad is it's only 15% instead of 20%...
The good is that I don't think it's a single use coupon, many can claim it.
