Anyone know how many points are needed in Pikkit to get 25% Off? I think I'm gonna stop at 20% I've been playing for like 2 hours!

Would it be misuse of corporate resources to pass my phone around the secretaries until find that answer, and reach 25%? :)

I was gonna have my 4 year old roommates play it for a while. I'm gonna get Pikkit's elbow or something from playing this for so long.

I always have such a hard time navigating that site so I only ever find good deals there when someone post something here. Thanks for all who do. It is greatly appreciated.

Same here just got the 20% off code. Played it at the mall today while I was waiting for my wife to finish shopping. It was roughly the same number of points ,44k ish, to the next one so it might be another 20% . Only time will tell

Definitely is the same exact code, not even an additional different numbered 20% I'm not sure if they are 1 time use or not

What's the minimum amount you have to purchase to use the code?

Thanks

Wow I didn't know they had that. Sadly it's not for Windows Phone but I found my android phone I use as a camera remote and I'm in business! Time to win me a M12 Bandsaw.

So what is everyone else's best? I made it to Round 7 but did not come close to beating it and got 3465 points. This cheap android phone kinda hitches sometimes and the game freezes for a second so on the fast levels that's a big problem.

My 6 Plus is a bit too big to double thumb. Round 6 and the conveyer explodes! 2,300 some odd points....I'm trying it with horizontal orientation (found a setting.

Can someone explain to this Luddite how Zoro benefits from customers playing this game? I don't get some of the current marketing trends.

It's just for raising brand awareness.

At least it's more interactive than say, sponsoring a tennis match or something.

Still waiting for the usual new year 20$ off $100 code so I can get some stacking bins! I think that is best code because you can still get free shipping without spending a ton of cash.

I did not realize that Zoro carried cleaning supplies so this game literally did work. I learned more about what they carry from the game. I wish it had real products though because I'd love to pack X-Frame wrenches and stuff but I'm sure there are legal issues.

Nah, they should sell it as ad space to SK and other vendors.

So I got addicted to Pakkit and played for a hell of a long time. Made it to the 20% coupon and when I hit the next level I got another 20% coupon :( so it seems like its capped at that.

I went through the Zoro calendar and took down all the codes in it for the year. Surely they will be other codes and sales each month.

January 13 - $40 off $200+ - Code SNOWBALL
February 16 - 15% off $150+ - Code COLDOUT
March 9-10 - Free Tool Pouch with $175+ - Code CARRIER
April 13 - $35 off $125+ - Code RAINING
May 19 - 25% off $175+ - Code BLOSSOM
June 27 - 20% off $200+ - Code WARMINGUP
July 18-19 - $50 off $250+ - Code COOKOUT
August 8 - 10% off $100+ - Code AUTUMN
September 5-6 - $25 off $100+ - Code FALLTIME
October 11 - 10% off 125+ or 20% off 225+ - Code USETOOLS
November 17 - 15% off $125+ - Code FREEZING
December 5 - Free knife with $150+ - Code BLADE

I would like to hop into the world of welding this year. Any notable deals to be had with their 20% off coupon? I'm kind of thinking to wait a bit more and see what rebates from Hobart or Miller crop up. What do you guys think?

Wait for a rebate. Only way to get a great deal on a Miller. Then hope there's a 30% off during that time period. What's interesting to me is that there's currently the same rebate available, but it's a Canadian form. Google Miller rebate 2016 and you'll find it. I wonder if you have to provide a Canadian address, or buy from a Canadian vendor, or both?

I heard there is a great Canadian vendor over on Ebay selling 211's for cheap :lol_hitti

I got a bit of an unpleasent suprise on my Zoro order today... Noticed my credit card got charged 30$ more than it should have.

Come to discover Zoro is out of Buffalo Grove, IL... So I got hit with tax. However, their website still doesn't show the tax so that ***** to be blindsided by. The math on the right doesn't add up as it stands. However, I downloaded a pdf invoice and that did show the tax.

Still excited for my tools, but lame on Zoro's part.

Zoro's site has always showed my tax on the pre-discount amount, but I always get charged less than that since when they charge, it's taxed post-discount. Always wondered why they never got that right, but it works in my favor I guess. ***** for you though.

The great deal was back when they were running the Miller Build w/ Blue ($400 rebate w/ 211 and $400 in accessories) rebate plus the free spool gun.

The way guys were doing it was to get the free spool gun and $400 worth of sellable accessories, getting 20-25% off the whole deal and then reselling everything. So you'd take a $1300 welder, take 25% off, and then whatever you could sell the accessories and spool gun for (75-80% of retail maybe) and getting a 211 for like $400-$500.

The build with blue rebate has expired but maybe there's a similar one coming as that ran from March 2015 until the end of the year. Or maybe miller would honor it if you ordered soon.

One word of caution on Zoro tho with regards to Miller welders is to cross-shop. Don't just assume that 20% off Zoro's price is the best deal. I found that on my Miller 141 the 20% off deal just brought it down to Zoro's 20% off price.

Illinois is a royal pain when it comes to sales tax. When I worked at Amazon we weren't allowed to go on business or recruiting trips there because it would establish tax nexus.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to discover that they charge tax on the pre-discount amount, since Zoro calls it an "instant rebate" on the invoice.

I would send them an email and expect them to refund you for the tax portion since they clearly showed what your total was before you submitted your order.

It's not really worth ordering a Miller from Zoro unless it's 30% off. That way you also get the two spool guns much cheaper, assuming they do another rebate this year.

Forgot about the 30% off deal. Those are harder to come by. Even @ 25% it's a pretty nice deal if you either need the accessories anyway or at least buy stuff that you can sell easily. But of course check eBay first to understand the market and what you'll get for it...tho I'm amazed that people pay retail store prices on eBay...in this case it's a good thing.
