Yeah, I'm not ready to spend extra on shipping and the discount wasn't working on some items which I believe should have qualified.
I did have some things like loctite and a few other things I took off of my order. Ah well.

My grandfather found a Milwaukee charger, case, and M18 3Ah battery and gave them to me so I ordered the M18 bare 3/8" impact. Hopefully someone will buy me the boot for Christmas.

bought some firewood splitting wedges and mauls made by Council Tool, and the Fiskars version. Is Council Tool a reputable brand? It does say USA. I believe it's in NC.

Council Tools is NC, and top notch.

I picked up a few small ratchets I've been needing.... SK 3/8 stubby and 1/4 flex.

The one thing I wanted, a lamp that works on my cordless system's battery, doesn't count as a power tool accessory :(

really. get this:

i bought three proto ratchets, the "same" ratchet in the three common sizes, 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2". these are the lines to describe what was in the package they already put together (they do get points for getting a package together already, actually):

G1815947 1/2" Drive Ratchets Hand Ratchet,1/2 in. Dr,17-1/8 in. L

G0751204 Ratchets and Accessories Hand Ratchet,3/8 in. Dr,8-1/2 in. L

G3160787 SAE Deep 3/8" Drive Sockets Hand Ratchet,1/4 in. Dr,6-1/2 in. L

"zoro number" in red, 'product name" in green, and "description" in orange.

the 1/4" ratchet is cited as "SAE Deep 3/8" Drive Sockets".

no wonder i can't find anything on their site. i think the 3/8" is in the correct category, the 1/2" looks like someone created a category for it, or some other ratchet in some dark past, because it never occurred to them to look for a generic category. the 1/4" ratchet looks like whoever was keying it in copied the previous record, and didnt update all the fields.

maybe they were hurrying to get to one of those staff parties.

the pricing is average, but with the discount it is great. imagine what they sales could be if you could find things on their site easier, or they were correctly catalogued so you could get it on sale like you were supposed to be able to.

i lucked out. . . . .

I purchased a set of metric long pattern wrenches. The regular pricing was on par with Amazon and Tooltopia. The 30% discount made it too hard to pass up.

No go on the hub grappler. The one thing i need lol

But the hydraulic addon is under hand tools. Makes sense. Maybe they'll have a flash sale on cyber Monday.

Having this only on 2 categories, with so many others encompassing tools, was really stupid.

[talking about Proto flex-head ratchets]

...the pricing is average, but with the discount it is great...

Yeah! I'm also impressed with the pricing on the 24" Proto breaker bar (1/2" drive), just $40 before the discount.

One other thing with solid pricing: Channellock pliers. Here's the 2-piece set (up to 9.5") for $15 after the discount, and the 3-piece set (up to 12") for $25. These are the straight serrated jaws. The ones with the V-cut are even cheaper!

Anybody else seeing nice prices on hand tools?

I started putting a very large order in my cart but soon realized the horrendous organization was going to make it a complicated nightmare. I will wait until it's 30% on everything.

Its this and the M18 Power Source both worth adding to the cart today. Each has the 30% taken off with free shipping. Real Tool Reviews discussed the practical use of these adapters in one of his videos. Belongs in every Milwaukee system. :)

The Milwaukee M12 power source is a decent deal at $19.75 after discount. I picked one up along with some Milwaukee adapters which were also a good deal.

I tried the promotional code on an M12 Circular Saw Kit with no luck. I don't see anything in their "fine print" that would suggest it doesn't apply. Also, it appears a few members above used the code on Milwaukee products. :dunno:

This is a good sale...

Finally picked up a bunch of DE-made Wiha screwdrivers. In my opinion, they're far better than anything Snap On or Matco offers. Matco sold rebranded German Witte drivers when I was a tech, but the tennis-ball fuzz handles would get saturated with grease / oil quickly, and there was no cleaning them.

Waiting for the no-restrictions 30% off sale to pick up some Stronghold goodies.

I went pretty light this year. All I got was an 1-1/8" 120XP GearWrench splined ratcheting wrench, a Diablo SawzAll blade kit, and a metric SK Long Pattern wrench set.

I wanted to get some Knipex plier wrenches, but I spent enough elsewhere...

I noticed they hiked all their prices on 2.0 hp California Air Tool compressors wayy up. No point in buying from them now even with 30%

I don't think they ever were the best price for that anyways. The CAT outlet online store was usually better. I did score a 1.0HP CAT compressor during the last big sale and the price was unbeatable.
