I've noticed most of these codes exclude certain brands. I could swear that some coupon a few months ago was not so exclusive and was valid for a Makita SP6000J1 track saw that I've been eyeing... maybe around Black Friday?

I know what you mean. I've been disappointed after thinking I could take 20%+ off.

The only code I know which will work on Makita is: NOV17DEAL
However, this only takes $15 off.

I just looked it up on the Internet Archive out of curiosity.

Today, Zoro has 29 restricted brands.
In Feb. 2016, there were only 20 restricted brands (Makita was not one of them).

I just received their mailer today. As previously stated by 2ndGearRubber, there are no 30% off codes this year for Black Friday / Cyber Monday. (I'd like to be proven wrong, though). The best we'll get is 25% off $250+ on 11/27. The last time we had 25% off, it was for $400+.

Repeating 2ndGearRubber's Post:

Code: BLKFRDY
Percent: 20%
Categories: Hand Tools, Fans & Hvac, Electrical Supplies & Generators, Pipes, Valves & Fittings, Gloves, Eyewear, Ear Protection, Masks & Clothing
Minimum: None
Date: Now - 11/24, 11:59 CT

Code: CYBER25
Percent: 20% off $150+ / 25% off $250+
Category: No Category
Date: Nov. 27th (Ends at 11:59 CT)

It's hard to believe that the 30% off is been so far and in between. That's about the only time you really get a god deal. A lot of time the 20% is about the same price as other places. Plus with them not letting certain brands to be used on these percentages off makes it hard to keep buying from them.

The 20% has its place. I used it on some Bessey REVO and accessories. Zoro already has much lower prices on the REVO accessories than anyone else. The 24 and 40 clamps with the sale are significantly cheaper than anyone else.

The 30% off were fun while they lasted, I too think that ship has sailed. 25% off can still be pretty good, but I hate the fact that they limited the use. I am just glad I bought the welders and meters I did, got to use 30% off as well as stack rebates for the Miller stuff. Those days were great!

I got a flier in the mail the other day telling me that they will start charging Ohio state tax starting in 2018. Zoro's has run its course with me. I know why, I just don't care and there are alternatives that don't - they will get my business.

I'm glad I loaded up when they had their 30 % off. Dynabrade, Metabo, belts , and blades. Saved me a fortune compared to anywhere else. I do have a Metabo die Grinder in cart if 30% does happen.

Seems to be more than whats listed. Just tried to use coupon on Scotch Brite Bristle Wheels and was denied. On top of that, I been keeping these items in my cart and keeping an eye on them for a while and the price has risen $10 each in the last week. So if the discount did apply it would just take it down close to the orig. price of last week. Oh well

It won't get you to 30%, but halfway, at least today. eBates is currently offering 2.5% back on Zoro. normally I see it between 1-2%. So that gets you to 27.5% or 22.5% depending on what you spend.

the link above is a referral link. we both get a bonus. perhaps if I had more real life friends, I'd send them them the link, LoL, just online tool friends. just hoping for 1 or 2...maybe

The Zorro BF sale really does ****. I have tried to buy 10 different items not on the "not included list" and still getting rejected, even washers get rejected. Can't be bothered doing this anymore, I've already spent too much time dicking around their website, life is too short especially on holiday.

They're making themselves come across as wankers.

Might have better luck on Monday -- looks like today's sale only applies to specific categories (see 2ndGearRubber's/burbanksupply's posts above).

Wait until Monday, there's a 25% off coupon anyways.

Thanks guys, I'll look out for it on Monday.

I was ready to blow some good money @ zoro but found some other sites selling the same stuff with the BF discounts so they got some of my money. Maybe Monday.

MSC Direct has been no different. Machine shop's aren't getting too much 2017 BF love. Maybe these guys are hurting too much economy wise to offer BF?

I think Zoro realized that they will still make sales at their 20% off. I'm glad I took advantage of their 30%. We'll see what Monday offers.

EVERYTIME I try and buy something from Zoro with one of these coupons their normal price is so high the coupon only brings it down to the other retailers normal price. I’ve just given up looking for anything on their site. I hope that’s what they intend to do with their over msrp price plan.

Last year Zoro had 30% off 500 or more on Dec 13 and 14th with no category restrictions.

Zoro had the 30% off but with restrictions during black Friday 2016 and cyber Monday had 25% off in 2016. I read a few pages back in the zoro deals thread that guys received flyers around Nov 24th last year advertising the 30% for Dec 13/14th. I am wondering if I should take a chance and see if 30% comes around again on Dec 13/14th or just pull the trigger at 25% tomorrow. I may call and ask if the 30% will happen again in December but since there are no flyers mailed out then the employees most likely will not know.

In addition to today's 25% off, CouponCabin.com has some deals you can stack on top. There is a 5% back, up to $15, on orders under $475 and $20 back on orders over $475.

So do I need to spend over $125 to work for todays CYBER25 code or is there another one I can use?

I only have about $75 in my cart and that was stretching out it already. There was bunch of things ($450ish) I wanted to buy but some were on the restricted list as well as a bunch not on the list but still restricted.

I'm gonna get myself an IR 325B 18-gauge nibbler. It's competitive at $125, seems like a good deal at $100 with the discount. Anyone have tips on good stuff in the $0-$25 range to help me get to $150? I have a few ideas but nothing really compelling. I do light metalworking as well as car stuff.

They have a good selection of Knipex. Up until recently, IR was on the list of brands restricted from promos, that's apparently changed.

TopCashBack is offering 4.4% back on Zoro. Make sure you check to see if the code you use is in their list when you use it... they always have the same deals when I see them, but sometimes they have a specific code. Today it's CYBERSAVE though. Also a referral link... might as well make a few bucks instead of giving it to them. :)

I've made $70 with them so far and have always gotten paid... got another $16+ from Zoro last Friday, plus they gave me a $3.00 bonus for a promo they were running.

Thanks ishiboo. I was thinking about putting together a post. There are a lot of great cashback options which will help to reduce the price. However, you have to be willing to wait a little bit to receive the cashback. Most give you a couple options such as sending you a check, depositing into your PayPal, or depositing it into an Amazon card (which they'll give you an extra 1%).

TopCashBack is a good site. I personally like BeFrugal (shameless referral link). They give 4.5% cashback on Zoro purchases and it's reported almost immediately.

Not as good as one of the codes, but here's their newest one:

Ooops. My 7/8" nuts, washers and B7 allthread arrived... but somehow I don't think that's 7/8" allthread :)

Not to mention I was promised a call back or email about the shipping of the original order and never got it. Hopefully the replacement comes quickly as I'm now very late!

(The allthread that I ordered should be the same size as the nut!)

It will be fine, just use some loctite.

I don't think Loctite will span that gap... I'm going JB Weld. It's B7 allthread, I need the strength!

Meanwhile, another flawless McMaster order with no drama...

They initially wanted me to send it back before shipping out a new order, but I spoke with a supervisor and she confirmed with the warehouse that the wrong stock was in the location so it was clear what I received. Now I have to take 4 hours off of work to hang around waiting for a freight pickup.

I bet it costs them $80-100+ to send back $45 worth of stuff via freight. And it costs me a hell of a lot more than that in lost work, plus I still have to take another 4 hours when the correct shipment comes. I offered to just buy it off them... even though I have no use for it, that's better than loosing 4 hours of work. We shall see. Back when I worked for a package shipper, something like this would have been given to the customer to "destroy" instead of paying more than its worth to return it.
