Bad news everyone...

It looks like Zoro might have discontinued the 20% off $100+ codes they offered through the trade sources. As of January 2019, none of the usual sources have included new monthly codes. Now, it's possible this could change, but we have seen a change in the way Zoro is using more category based codes, setting them at higher minimums, or providing the occasional mailer.

Some of the codes will continue to work through 3/9. There are currently 9 working 20% off $100+ codes.

What's up with Zoro's new logo? The little fox was much better.

I agree. I suppose they are trying to rebrand like many companies with a fresh streamlined logo, but the design is oversimplified and frankly..boring. There's nothing memorable about it.

I've only got two. Does anyone care to share a consolidated list of working codes?

Discount codes or not, I'll continue to give zoro a look. But I will miss the discounts.......

I usually don't post all of the codes and just ask to be PM'd for additional codes so that other discount sites don't just start copying them. I had figured that too many codes floating around would discourage Zoro or change how they handle them. I once spoke with a Zoro rep which was aware of this board.

However, I'll post the 9 working trade codes if that's the consensus. What do you guys think?

I agree. When I got the email announcing the new logo I was so disappointed. The new logo is so boring & common looking. I miss the fox but then again with all their changes with sales & restrictions I find myself not considering buying from them much anymore. But it's understandable, they need to try & stay in business.

At first glance it looks like one of those scam websites that pop up with those crazy tool deals, so generic and plain. I wonder if they discontinued the packing game or if it has been changed too.

I've also noticed that it seems every time I buy an item that had issues with shipping damage, the price goes up immediately afterwards. I bought a workbench riser for my new shop bench, and it was shipped pretty poorly (just in the mfrs box, no added padding). It arrived badly bent up and missing the hardware. Zoro is great about returns, and sent a prepaid label plus shipped another one once the old one was in transit rather than waiting to receive it. However, the price went up by $20 that day! I was going to buy another one, but it was cheaper to go elsewhere after the price increase.

Not too familiar with zoro, but I'm looking at an item that has gone up
$60 in the last month. Do their prices fluctuate that much or should I expect it to stay the same? Item is the Dake d10 press.

Zoro is the small business/general consumer side of Grainger. Sometimes, some of the bigger items will fluctuate, especially with the new year.

With a 20% off coupon code, your price would be about $340.31 w/ shipping before tax from Zoro for the Dake 972200 B-10 Hydraulic Bench Press.

Looks like it went up another $13. Funny thing is I have one in my cart and it still shows the old price... Even when I go to check out. I wonder if this is a tactic to get people to order. Must admit I am tempted before it goes up more.

Oh and they are adding tax now on top of that. ugh.

Manufacturers raise prices this time of year. Retailers are likely to raise prices to you too. If you wait another year, that Dake press will be even more expensive.

I have a personal 20% off $400 code available, not sure if it has fewer exclusions than other generic codes. If you’ve posted a deal before and are a long time active member PM me for the code.

The 25% coupons are nice (especially with no minimum), but you can get to 24% using the 20% codes listed on zoro combined with 4% from a cashback site. The difference being 1% and that you get 4% cash back later, not an upfront discount.

Cashback sites won't give the 4% back on personal, one-time use codes--only codes listed on their site or zoro.

That is what I figured, but you never know, sometimes you guys find unbelievable deals.

Be frugal offers 6% for the first order if you are new (up to $300, then it goes back to 4%).

Thanks for the link.

I may have screwed the be frugal portion up, after clicking through to Zoro and then completing the transaction, they told me I may have had a setting wrong so it may not collect my purchase data. It looks like it can take several days before you find out if the transaction went through, curious to see how this works out. At least the next time I will have everything set.

Save about $200 buying a retractable 1/0 welding cable reel.

You can submit an order to BeFrugal if it doesn't show up. Here is the form, but you have to wait 7 days. Most of mine show up within a day, though my multiple Advance Auto orders never appeared (think the problem is on AA's side on that one)

Good to know, thanks for the info again.

Fordman, there are plenty of things that are great deals already and the codes make it even better, you do need to hunt around. While I hate all the restrictions, it has never stopped me from finding a bargain.
