I have about $350 in my cart at Zoro. If anyone has a coupon code available, I'd certainly appreciate one. A 10% or a 15% off coupon code would be greatly appreciated.

See post #4181 for how to get a 10% off coupon. If you need to generate "new" email addresses, use your gmail account.

Here is how to do it.

If your normal email is [email protected], then simply add a +whatever after the first part before the @.

Here are some examples:

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

This way you can create as many email addresses as you want for 10% off coupons. Sign up at www.zoro.com/email - wait for the email to arrive to confirm your email address (about 2-5 mins), then click the link in that email and you will have a new coupon within a few mins.

I've never gotten this to work, and I've tried more than once. When I send an email to the modified email address, the email is received properly so the email address does work. However, Zoro never sends me a verification email to activate the account and get the discount.

If anyone has a code available, I'd appreciate it.

I just did this on Sunday so it worked then. Not sure what to tell you. Perhaps the email with the coupon got caught in your spam filtering. I know gmail now has categories for promotions, you might want to poke around.

It didn't get caught in my spam filter that I know of, and I've poked around a lot. Certainly, it hasn't been placed in my junk email folder.

I've had much better luck just putting items in my cart and waiting until Zoro sends me a coupon. But that can take months sometimes.

I ended up getting a 15% off code from Zoro because they screwed up a different order. I had already used Pete's 20% off, so I will put this one out there for those that might need it.

I went today to cut the order, as my credit card got paid off, and the new statement period started. I only charge what I can pay off each month, so I wanted to wait.

I called Zoro, and after getting cut off twice, reached some overseas woman, who told me that the code was only good for that day, and she would not issue another. When I told her that I'd probably then cut the order with Amazon, she told me to go ahead.

UPDATE:

Accidentally logged into my Zoro account from another PC. 20% showed up.

It worked.

The last two times I've called Zoro customer service, I've been connected within a minute to someone based in USA who spoke perfect English. Overall, very happy with Zoro.

Seems odd, I have always talked to someone that spoke good English and has been friendly and resolve my issue quickly.

Why would you expect them to extend a coupon that clearly has an expiration date?

Disclaimer-I have only called about returns/shipping updates/Missin or unexpected item type issues. No coupon related calls.
