lol as if...I love the "abandoned cart" emails so long as they include a 20% or 25% off coupon

I tried the putting stuff in cart and waited 2 days or so, had about $700, nothing. Added some more, $1100 and 2-3 hours later an email - Will 20% off Your Order Help? 20% coupon! So I can confirm this works.
And it worked for the just the one item I wanted that was $419.

Also, this same item at Grainger is $369. With the 20% off Zoro was still the better deal.

To test this again I put a little over $1000 in my cart and within maybe 2-3 hours I got email with this subject:

I wonder what I have done to not got any of these discounts from Zoro anymore? If I login, put things in my cart, and wait I don't get any coupons from them. (Yes, I checked my spam folder just in case.) I usually get two 10% off coupons in my postal mail every month, but 10% off with Zoro is rarely enough to save money over other retailers.

I have ordered from Zoro three or four times this year for a total of about $2,000.

Customer service at Zoro at an individual and small-business level as been very pleasant, although never personally had an issue with Grainger. Eye-ball searches as sometimes you will see multiple listings of the same item at different prices or availability/lead-times. Unlike Amazon, nothing has ever arrived damaged, used, rusted or corroded. Definitely...promo codes.
