If you have the time, I’ve found that leaving items in my cart on Zoro.com often triggers an email with a discount code. It may take a few days, but I’m usually offered 15% off to complete my shopping. (I think this has been posted before, but I haven’t seen it in a while and can’t find it. Thanks to whoever the original source of the information was!)

This is the second time in a row I've had issues with Zoro. Both times items showed standard shipping estimates and without notice took forever. The first one I ended up canceling after a month because the deal on my debit card would no longer apply. This one was placed months ago and was just now canceled. It might be supplier issues, but Zoro needs better customer service to handle this. I think this may have been my last order with them.

Tips for Zoro shopping that I have run into several times:

1)I think they must have multiple buyers or suppliers or something even for some of their same brands, as sometimes the same item will be on their site twice for completely different prices. Sometimes it doesn't show up in the same category or even brand (ie. Williams vs Snap-on Industrial). Best bet if you are interested in something is to search by part number and variations of the part number. Like if a part number is ABC1234 - search for 1234, as sometimes it's listed differently! It's almost an art. Sometimes spending a few extra minutes can save you decent money!

Here's an example -- I was looking at a Ken-Tool Flip Socket set # 30111, which is the OEM for Blue-point and Matco, etc. Search one way and the item shows part number KEN30111 (Zoro # G3349527) for $157. But search by just the last part of the part number and you find it under 30111 (Zoro # G2925655) for $121! That's a $36 difference!

2) It's been mentioned before, but just in case, if you don't have any discount codes - (create an account if you don't already have one), sign into your account, add the items to your cart, and then just close out and give it a day or so. Majority of the time an email will show up with a 10% or 15% discount code. Don't remember if I've gotten a 20% out of that, but it's possible. Again though, very little work (waiting a day) and you can save big money.

dcoleman88, thanks, but just tried and appears to already have been used. Nice try, though!
Someone must have grabbed it. I didn’t use it, Zoro pissed me off over the Williams set and the impact socket sets that they cancelled.

I won't be using the following:

20% Off
Ends Nov 13 @ 11:59 PM Central Time
JSB20BC596J9

No category restrictions that I am aware of. The usual brand restrictions apply. Maximum savings of $500.

I tried it an it gave an invalid code error. Bummer, as I have a $1700.00 order ready to go on there.

20% off proto, gear wrench, Stanley, or Klein.

JSTSHT20P530N4

Good thru Nov 17
That worked. One of the proto sets I had in my cart went out of stock since last night, but I was able to get the other. Saved me $150. Thanks!

Edit: I was able to call Zoro and they found another set of the metric wrenches, so now I have both sets ordered. Saved just over $300.

My problem with Zoro is that I've had to use their eBay store versus their actual site because their actual site was not accepting PayPal multiple times in a row - kept showing total balance due as $0 zero dollars
