I was out of town in Boston last week, and saw a posting in Hot Deals for a Zoro Tools coupon code for $40 off a $150+ order. On Friday I ordered a 1/4" and 3/8" Wera Zyclops ratchet wrench and a Wera Kraftform #3 Phillips. With tax and free shipping, it came out to $129.21 - an incredible bargain.

That was Friday. I flew back yesterday (Monday) to Southern California on and the package had already arrived! Everything was in good order - but that sort of speed delivering a Friday order the following Monday is just incredible!

I almost ordered these from Chad's Tool Box because the prices are so low, but saw all of the numerous warnings here about bad customer service and weeks or even months of delays in shipments. No bargain is worth the frustration of waiting, so I ignored those prices, and went to Zoro. Zoro was absolutely top notch! I will absolutely be ordering from there again.

Only other company that even comes close to UPS shipping speed to me in Rural VT is Summit. I have no idea how they do it, but both are fast and excellent at service!

Re: Zoro Tools Not-so-great

So I just ordered 3 pcs stainless all-thread in 3/4-16. They threw all 3 in a tube much too long and considerably larger in I.D. than the 3 pcs of stock. It came to me with no cap on one end, but miraculously the 3 pcs were there! However no packing material whatsoever. This is FINE THREAD people, you can't just let it bang around together!!

If packing material really ups the cost that much, do $2 or $3 flat rate shipping instead of free shipping on orders Zoro! I'd gladly pay a couple bucks more if it means you'd take 30 seconds to cram some brown packing paper in the tube.

People had a similar issue with the wrecking bars, plenty of empty tubes delivered:

I took advantage of the same sale. Zoro was good, but UPS was a major fail. They brought me my neighbors new high heels and she got my router table. Damned shoes were a couple sizes too small.....
