Should I expect 40% off current prices or do they inflate them before the sale?

I've been eyeballing an impact wrench kit and it is currently $299 from them- about $250 elsewhere online.


Do they jack up the prices for the sale or is it safe to start my wish list?

I don't expect 40% this year. Their promos have been very lame this year. I'd get your wish list ready just in case but it'll probably be a *********.

No they did not jack up prices from what I saw. It's just that their prices are high anyway. However the 40% off resulted in some great deals.

Does anybody remember from last year if the deals leading up to black friday were any good, or did they just kind of spring the 40% out of nowhere? Hopefully they are waiting for the black friday sale. I for one have a big order ready to go. I missed out last year but am hoping for the best this year.
