I am new to GJ, so I'm not clear on the definition of "vintage". I just received a Profi-King, Swiss-made Zyliss vise, originally sold in 1986. Vintage?

I have all the basics (even the original box). But I'd like to buy some accessories:
- turntable
- tube clamping jaws
- carry/storage case (maybe)

I have only found random sellers on eBay and an outfit called Advanced Machinery that appears to sell new. (https://www.advmachinery.com/search.aspx?SearchTerm=zyliss)

Is anyone aware of other outfits selling these accessories?

Thanks much.

56: you're boarderline vintage, but since you have a cool avatar, cool old truck i'll answer your questions. i'm not sure the original company is still in business because i bought a Zyliss for my first vise at a local home show for $220 about 30 years ago. i still own it and a few of it's cousins now and it's still a great vise for out in the yard or a small job.

as far as replacement parts i think you are on the right track. also Craigslist seems to get a lot of them from new prices to cheap if you have time to look there and edit all the spammers. Craigslist is still one of my favorite places to look for cool old stuff so maybe you'll have some luck there.

can you post pictures of the parts you need and since i'm always looking for vises maybe i'll find a parts vise to pick up to help solve your problem. also while you are posting pictures of the not quite Vintage Zyliss how about a couple pics of the truck you named yourself after that is vintage?

cheers and good luck

drivesitfar, thanks for the reply.
The turntable allows you to rotate the work 90 deg.

The tube clamping jaws are as the name implies.

With the 2 of these I can work on items like bicycles, tubing, light pipe bits.

I am a car nut as long as I can remember. I like nearly all of them from early 50's through '72 or so. However...I am too practical to have a garage queen and too Swiss Army to have a sports car, convertible or really any car. So my quest has settled on my birth year, big fendered, bid windowed F100. Gorgeous truck stock but I'd like a mild street rod, perhaps 302, 5 speed with big stick or maybe a 350-350 setup. Reliable, done well by someone with skills.
Someday......

I have two units, bought one in the late seventies, second one picked up two years ago at a garage sale for a mere eight dollars, still in box with the pivot base..used the original one quite extensively...
