Motorcycle Dream Garages

So I was just sitting here at the Atomic Industry world headquarters, minding my own business, when some dude walked in with a book under his arm. Turns out, it was Lee Klancher and he wanted to show off his latest release – Motorcycle Dream Garages. A quick flip through proved he was on to something. The book features excellent photography of not only showroom garages, but real working garages as well. It focuses mostly on motorcycles shops, obviously, but the concepts are true for us all.

For more info, check out Lee’s site.

I thumbed thru it at B&N last week. Thought it was well done. Lots of variety, from unobtanium to working class. Nice Job.

I'm waiting for a ''Best of Garage Journal'', and a ''Best Garage Ideas from Garage Journal'' myself. I will have to check that out though, as I am a sucker for pretty pictures.

I hate these books.....................in a good way. I mean, you look at one and see everything you want to redo!

My shop is a prime example. I am not even done and keep changing/improving it. I just added another man door to the east with a 3 foot side glass to let in more light. Next up is the 18 light windows in my rolling barn doors, the porch yada yadda yadda.........

I'd like to see more of the garage. Like the way they finished the walls. Good find.

I see a friend of mine got in the book - a guy named Steve Hamel, he restores Vincents. His garage is definitely a working garage, no fancy tile floors or artwork on the walls there, but he turns out some incredible bikes.
