Drawn by the famous pin up artist George Petty: Petty is especially known for drawing “the Petty Girl”!

In the interests of full disclosure, posted to my Facebook page to see if I can rouse the rabble out of their post-Christmas torpor.

Yeah , style and class.
It is too bad that it doesn't seem like it will ever return.
Subtle can be so much more many times.

If somebody could get the rights to republish calanders like those for the current year, I bet those would sell like hotcakes, I would buy one every year.

I wish that she was hanging off of my pipe machine at work.

I thought all the girls were covered in tattoos in the 50s.

Every year for Christmas, my wife gets me a Gil Elvgren calendar--no tools, but the classic pin-up girls. No nudes or skin, but the suggestion is there.
Go to the calendar kiosk at your mall or a book store--they'll have one.
I get one of those from the wife every year, and Boy Wonder gets me a vintage tractor calendar. I have no reason for a calendar on the right and left wall above both sides of my corner desk, but the room would be bare without them!

Tool ads just aren't what they used to be....and neither are the tools in many cases.

I think there should be a thread just for Pin-Ups!
A few years ago I thought I had hit the jackpot when I found I could order a Ridgid calandar. What a bummer! All ******* type pictures in the calandar. What happened to the calandars I grew up seeing.
My wife thought getting that calandar was quite silly. I told her when I was a kid there was one in every filling station garage and shop I ever went into.

Would be neat to have an original copy or two to hang in the garage. I love the old aviation art too.
