The Atomic Shop: A Working Update

Given that it’s been a year since our last update on the Atomic Garage, I thought it might interesting to have an update of sorts. The above video is  actually some test footage taken for another project, but in it you can kind of see how the space has progressed. Admittedly, it’s a mess at the moment as we just finished a major thrash for a local show. After our next clean up, I’ll get some footage of the joint in it’s more typical state – operational like an operating room.

In any case, if you are interested you can read  the build thread covering  the shop here.

Ryan, the footage looks quite good...you could make it perfect with some stabilization in post :) The cars are awesome!

Were you using a handheld gimbal? If you're doing a project that needs "perfect" motion control and/or time lapse, send me a pm. We could work something out :)

Yeah, drone... and I'm a rookie pilot. In fact, that was my first flight.

Ryan - nice shop and flying skills. I liked it at 50 or so seconds when the mechanic coming from the tool box walks past you, looks up at the drone and does an "exit - stage right".

Beautiful cars too.

Cheers

Nice job on the flight!
Be careful when in flight and be certain the battery is 100% charged. I had mine sitting for about a month and wanted a quick flight. I powered up and found I had 60% battery. Figured I was good for a few minutes. Took off and went to 400' and started heading away. Suddenly no video signal and the drone went silent.
I looked up to see it in dead fall. Hit the ground in full force and exploded every single part possible. Phantom 3 pro total loss. Luckily it landed in a parking lot and not over a house, or a car somewhere.

P.s.
This will be added to my desktop wallpapers :)
