Vintage Filling Stations

I’ve always felt that vintage gas stations were a great place to look for inspiration when building a stand alone work shop at the home. The architecture is always charming, the structures simple, and their smaller sizes make them affordable. A few months ago, we had a great post on the H.A.M.B. featuring a number of pictures of the old structures.

I think the first picture is of the garage Mikey/Drhotrod56 29 Model A was photographed in front of for Rod and Custom.

I know this is a bad picture...a picture of a postcard I saved from ebay. Cool old station (I love Sinclair stuff), complete with hotrod.

I've felt the same way, when I buy and acreage sometime I plan on build a vintage style garage.
