Vintage, huh....

I dont think of myself as old and I have the same box in my garage. Bought it new in 197something. Guess that is vintage.

Looks great by the way

Man, I'd like to do that to my old early 60's Snap-On box but I would hate to lose all the vintage stickers it has gathered over the years.

You could scuff the stickers; tape them up; put 3 coats of clear base; base; remove tape after base & clear; done it many times; comes out beautiful.

I have a Kennedy Tool Box that was my father's last box at work before he passed. It been disassembled for a couple years and I have root beer brown candy paint and a silver flake base to go down as a base. I just need to find some time to tackle the project.

Awesome box!!!
