Vintage, huh....

I dont think of myself as old and I have the same box in my garage. Bought it new in 197something. Guess that is vintage.

Man, I'd like to do that to my old early 60's Snap-On box but I would hate to lose all the vintage stickers it has gathered over the years.

You could scuff the stickers; tape them up; put 3 coats of clear base; base; remove tape after base & clear; done it many times; comes out beautiful.

I have a Kennedy Tool Box that was my father's last box at work before he passed. It been disassembled for a couple years and I have root beer brown candy paint and a silver flake base to go down as a base. I just need to find some time to tackle the project.
