... instead of the M12 ?
I've had the M12 inflator for a few years and its done a good and reliable job topping up the tires from 24 to 32 psi. Bought the M18 two months ago and it is much faster but the last few times I used the M18 inflator the tire pressure was either wrong and sometimes very wrong. Thinking about returning it since its <90 days or warranty it. The M12 inflator has been accurate for my needs to top up the tires to cancel out the TPMS warning.... instead of the M12 ?
Actually, I think the brass screw on connector is one of nice features on the M12 version !The only downside is the screw onto the tire connection.
I have these connectors on my air gauge. Now I can add this to my compressor. Cost as much as the plug in compressor but worth it !I picked one up as a holiday special at Home Depot w/ two 5ah batteries. The auto pressure check feature seems to work really well.
The TPMS in one of our vehicles does not indicate which tire is low. The screw-on chuck was a bit of a pain in the neck to use on all four tires, so I bought this short extension with a self locking nozzle:
JACO Lightning S2X Tire Inflator Hose Extension Self Locking Nozzle
This set-up makes it quick and easy to go around to all four tires.
It releases too much air on unscrewing. I have to over inflate to compensateActually, I think the brass screw on connector is one of nice features on the M12 version !
Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one. Nice to have options. The only downside is the screw onto the tire connection. JDToolCo has this adapter that you screw onto the factory thread on the inflator to change it to a lock on system: https://www.jerseydiscounttoolco.com/product-page/jdtco-locking-air-coupler
The M18 barely releases any air when removingIt releases too much air on unscrewing. I have to over inflate to compensate

I don't know if these would work. There is no mention as to whether the thread that would go into the inflator's screw on part is a true tire valve thread. It might be but in order for it to work this has to be a tire valve thread.FYI, 2 pack of quick connectors for $7
This is where I'm at. Over double the price of just the inflator but way more useful. Won't have auto shut off and built in air hose but can use it for nail guns and other stuff vs just inflating a tire. I do have the m12 inflator and leave it with the wife so she can use it when needed.Yes, but got the bigger one to use for other things too.

Several reviews mentioning both the m12 and M18 inflator and how well it works with them would tell me that more then likely it has the proper thread......I don't know if these would work. There is no mention as to whether the thread that would go into the inflator's screw on part is a true tire valve thread. It might be but in order for it to work this has to be a tire valve thread.
not in my experiecceThe M18 barely releases any air when removing
They work. Source: me (on my M18 inflator)I don't know if these would work. There is no mention as to whether the thread that would go into the inflator's screw on part is a true tire valve thread. It might be but in order for it to work this has to be a tire valve thread.
The reason is almost certainly one of the two following things: You have a bad copy and should get warranty assistance, or you're doing something incorrectly. Worth figuring out which.not in my experiecce
Just found a case where the inflators won’t work. Trying to blow up a wimpy little hand cart tire, one of those little 4x10 things.Yes, but got the bigger one to use for other things too.

Those can be a pain. I usually wrap a ratchet strap around the tire and tighten it up and the bead will seat. Then take strap off before filling all the way up.Just found a case where the inflators won’t work. Trying to blow up a wimpy little hand cart tire, one of those little 4x10 things.
My in-car inflator, and the pay for air at the gas station were too low of a flow rate to reseat the bead. We took it to a tire store, they popped it right up. The drive time was about equal to the time lost dicking with the little inflators.
