For $20 you can’t go too far wrong. Plug it in and see if it runs and put something smooth up against that buffing wheel to see if the motor bogs down right away. If it passes that test, hand the man a twenty and thank him.$20. Worth buying?
Why? This is new to me.That looks like the bench buffer/polisher.
The logic of having a polishing wheel on the same machine as a grinding wheel is dubious.
My 1 HP 8" Craftsman will stop spinning if I put too much pressure on my work piece too.Put that $20 towards one that doesn’t ****. It will stop spinning if you put too much pressure on your work piece
You'll just get grit into the buffing wheel and scratch you work. IMO anyway.Why? This is new to me.
