3/4 air lines worth it?

Plus 3/4" pipe will flow a ton of CFM, more than most of us would ever use. Run it in 3/4" and if you want extra capacity buy a 5 gallon air tank.
It'll certainly flow way more CFM than your typical 5hp compressor will ever be able put out.

I was looking floor that chart.

Um, yeah, 3/4" pipe, 100 PSI will flow 35 CFM.

I can 't think of too many people that need more air than that! :ROFLMAO:

Yeah, I've got a 5hp, 2-stage Quincy and off the top of my head it's only rated to 15.7 cfm @ 100 psi. A 60 gallon tank is only 8 cubic feet, so at 35 cfm the tank would empty in about 15 seconds, with the compressor kicking on at 16 cfm to finish the job.
