I just finished watching it myself. You’re right in that it will need another viewing or 2 for me to absorb everything in his collection. He showed his Bugatti vise near the beginning so it can’t be that. I suppose that finding a Bugatti at a somewhat affordable price is on all of our dream lists. That was a lot of fun to watch! I really like his vise manufacturer floor displays...very impressive. I'm very curious of what he's holding back for future viewing, maybe a super old and rare vise?
Thanks for sharing! I'm going to have to watch the video again.
I’ve probably seen every vise thread on here. Never seen anyone take vise collecting to this extreme.Reading the title without having watched the video and my first reaction was best vise collection = Garage Journal
shade?I guess if you're in to collecting....as opposed to using them
Hmmm, perhaps there's more on the wewbsite, but not much of an explanation here. All I heard in the posted clip was get a job, go to work and spend all your spare money on vises. Did I miss something? Not a knock, I've got the collector bug too (just not vises) and yes I've spent thousands too.On his Youtube site he gives a very good explanation of how he can afford his hobby. It's listed under his financial advise. He makes a lot of sense.
I don't think he has been collecting ALL that long. Stuff is out there and he pays for it. He is very active on Bench Vises Forever on FacebookThis is why none of the rest of us can't find anything but junk or overpriced museum pieces
I take it that he's tired of answering the question about where he got all of his money, and he has a way of explaining it that appeals to me. I hope most people will understand that there is some humor to his video.Hmmm, perhaps there's more on the wewbsite, but not much of an explanation here. Wow - he got all the money to buy those vises just by going to work! Who would'a thunk it?On his Youtube site he gives a very good explanation of how he can afford his hobby. It's listed under his financial advise. He makes a lot of sense.
