Rear brakes on the 2001 Suburban 2500.
Update from many pages back… Finally got #2 cylinder cleaned up on the Dodge, rings are gapped and the new piston and injectors are ready to go in. Working everyday really interferes with my personal life.
I don’t know that I could’ve done all that honing without the topside creeper I bought myself. It was a bit of work with just a 280.

Have you priced chroming service lately? Cheaper to buy performance parts… or red paint. If you had Chromed it, you could have claimed ten more Horses.

Have you priced chroming service lately?

Ah for the good old days with Coppertox.Cut and painted with Copper Napthenate the 2X4 parts for the gate I am assembling.
The purpose of the Copper Napthenate is to discourage termites.
.... I did paint the air intake horn red, that’s gotta be good for 5 horse.
If you had Chromed it, you could have claimed ten more Horses.
Saw this on Youtube for a chrome like paint process. Pretty damn convincing! I assume this is available in the USA.Have you priced chroming service lately? Cheaper to buy performance parts… or red paint.
Runway model?Super glued my fingers to a model.

While it shouldn't matter who you talk to, it does seem to matter. You would think it would be black and white without so much gray. I went through the process a few years back for a missing title on a 67 Mustang I bought. Seemed more like a money grab than any kind of background checking process. I have two old Yamaha DT's I need to get done too.Not in the shop, but a bit of a result.
The stolen-recovery pickup I bought 2 years ago finally went in for inspection.
Today I finally got a branded title, registration and plates.
Overall I'm pretty pleased, all the things I was hoping would be better than my current truck are. The salvage vehicle process in WA was not what I expected, It will be easier next time.
Beat me to it! I was going to ask if it was Heidi Klum or Gisele Bündchen...Runway model?Super glued my fingers to a model.
You'd be surprised how quick that goes.Only 281 production days until Christmas!
When stretching respirator cartridge lifespan, just be sure that the bad stuff you're trying to keep out is so horribly smelly that you won't be able to miss when the cartridges start failing. A lot of the methyl-ethyl-death stuff can sneak up on you and numb your sense of smell, and by the time you notice, it's too late and you are screwed for life. Don't save $20 or $50 at the cost of your lungs or nerves.A stop for meds and food and meds halfway thru the Buffet staining efforts. By the time I get done with the rest of the black I can double back and hit the countertop and shelves with the brown again.
Broke out the new 3M mask but went with the couple-year-old vapor cannisters. They're still working fine. The old mask is ~18-20yrs old, the elastic straps are failing, no stretch, near breaking. Far as I can see the masks are identical. All profit at this point in their manufacturing.
So should finish stain today and the weather is nice until the weekend. I ought to be able to brush on the satin poly on Thursday. Then leave it be for 4-5 days.

That sounds like how a fair number of my power tool batteries have died. I've tried various ways to resurrect them, but the cure has always involved opening my wallet.Assembled the frame of the new gate I am building for a rental, tomorrow I will start attaching the pickets.
i am working from my Mobility Scooter, so everything seems like it is taking a very long time. The original battery on my drill seemed to die today. The light comes on when I pull the trigger, but the motor wont run. My spare battery runs the drill just fine; the charger is telling me that the old battery is now defective.
Being retired means those whims go a little haywire.
This sounds all too familiar. Those sorts of dives slow progress, but seem to increase satisfaction.I'm not retired yet, and I sometimes do that sort of dive.... What happens after I retire?![]()
I experienced no shock in the days after I retired. This sounds all too familiar. Those sorts of dives slow progress, but seem to increase satisfaction.
8 more days of work before retirement. I’ll probably be in shock for awhile, I’ve held a job (sometimes two) continuously since the early 70’s. Maybe I’ll be able to cross a few more things off of the task list.

I'm at about 2300 days. I'm amazed at how much I've got done, and how much more I want to do...I'm excited to be at the 1,000ish day mark
